Pics pasted in the last post (sorry, newbie). One other note: unlike some miter saws, there is no option to unscrew and move the detent plate... see pic below. (not to mention that it is 0.1º short both ways, so turning wouldn't help).

Hello - my C10FCG miter saw seems to just shy of an exact 45º cut....it is ~0.1º short, both left and right sides. I've gone through all the other tune-ups, and it is perfectly square vertically and horizontally for straight cuts.
