Hi Marion, Exactly the same issue! I have never known a lithium battery to be completely dead! Not even the empty bar. Perhaps this is a shipping safety thing (although it comes with plastic terminal protector) Did you ever resolve this Marion? Did the battery take a charge? Still working now? Doe anyone else have any insights..... Much appreciated.😊
