stony2002
ive had my sds drill for about 5 months now, and out of the lot of my cordless kit, the sds gets the least used, about once every fortnight it comes out and even then its light work. ive just pulled it out today where just my luck, i need this trusty tool to save my life against alot of manual labour today..stick in a chisel attatchment, and the sds sounds like a bag of spanners, the hammer mode has gone into like trebble hammer and is shaking the whole drill, it totally sounds unhealthy, has anyone got a idea whats happend to my sds? im so annoyed as its never used for it to break like this, its useable if i hit the end of the chisel into the wall hard and the loud clanging stops for a bit, then back again. wayneburgess
They are only built for very light chiselling Bud and even then only for about 15 to 20 mins max at a time.I have heard this one a few times. Make sure you get it looked at by the way because it does sound like it has got an issue with the hammer action.
stony2002
its anoying as the use it gets doesnt justify it breaking just yet, now its the stress of contacting supplier and getting drill sent away and returned, the misery of online purchasing opposed to buying instore
