Paulmac
Hi all, I’ve got a Bosch 36v sds compact which has been working fine until yesterday, it still works on drill setting but on hammer drill setting it has lost its power. It still looks right and makes the right noises but the power has gone. Any help would be much appreciated
boonez40
Didnt someone say that the bits need lubed periodically to allow them to hammer properly. If the bits go dry, then to much friction is built that it feels like the drill lost power. Now if it has a drill chuck, then maybe the shank needs lubes. Craigh9916
Hi all, I’ve got a Bosch 36v sds compact which has been working fine until yesterday, it still works on drill setting but on hammer drill setting it has lost its power. It still looks right and makes the right noises but the power has gone. Any help would be much appreciatedI have had a few of them drills and they all do it after a few years , is it drilling but the hammer action is really weak ? If so it’s the hammer pins that have gone and I sent mine back to Bosch and it was £105 for the repair and it came back good as new ! My work mates have all got the same one and they went on there’s too it’s common after about 3 years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Beatrice_mom
It's a common problem really. One of my friends told me that it's only Bosch problem, but I am not so sure about that. You can solve replacing the hammer pin. It happens after 2 years of usual using mostly, don't know how to prevent it at all.
