Yichen Posted December 10, 2020 Report Share Posted December 10, 2020 I bought a kobalt non-xtr 6-tool kit and the drill is making a super clicky / knocking noise when the trigger is released at speed setting 2 especially at lower gears. The sound softens a lot over 16 or 17. Speed 1 is much smoother across all gears. I know it might be the brake in work but mine seems to be a bit excessive and inconsistent in different speeds.
