marcusp
Hello, I own a great Dewalt DC925KB but recently I've encountered a strange problem with its chuck. It's a Rohm Supra SK, and until now it has always worked like a charm, but now it doesn't stay tight on a bit. After several rotations (especially when it stops abruptly), the chuck is not holding the bit anymore... Does anyone already encounter this problem ? I've watched this video: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/removing-drill-chuck-c-8873_15176.html to remove the chuck but I didn't see the central screw the guy is talking about. Could someone advise me for this procedure ? TIA
Biggs
Dewalt dosen't use a threaded spindle(its one solid piece), so your probably going to want to send that in.
kanxrus
Correct it is a spindle style. I will be posting a topic on how to properly remove this chuck in the near future.
