The brand is German but their cordless tools are mostly made in Spain. They use Metabo batteries and they are planning to have the same tools using Bosch batteries, too. Another brand for cordless plumbing tools which is extremely expensive and another class is REMS, everything is made in Germany and extra heavy duty and their tools have their own batteries, not compatible with other brands, not yet!
