Andrew Down Under Posted May 1 Report Share Posted May 1 I removed the blade to clean it and when I went to put it back together, the malfunction light came on. Now it seems as though the blade holder no longer aligns correctly with the gears in the motor. When I turn it on in the open position it does nothing. If I troubleshoot it by manually putting the blade in the closed position and turn it on, then it opens and quits. HELP?? NOTE: Later, I read in one manual that I was suppose to change the blade while it was in the closed position, however a different manual I looked at had it in the open position so I'm not sure if that matters or not.
