dwain
Hi all, I'm picking up 4 long sheets of used laserlite this weekend but need to cut them in half for travel. I could use a jigsaw, recip, circular or hand saw, but the circular saw feels like the best idea. my main question is, do i have to purchase a new blade to do it with, or could i get away with using my current blade? Its a 24T, 6.5" blade as follows: http://www.irwin.com/tools/circular-saw-blades/marathon-with-weldtec-cordless-blade I'm sure its far from perfect (classified as a framing blade), but if i cut slowly, will it work ok? Cheers!
Javier
not sure what type of material that is but sounds like plastic or maybe fiber glass. If similar to fiber glass I would go with a masonry blade. Had to cut a fiberglass rock for a neighbor, at first I thought it was regular plastic so I tried a regular blade and it destroyed the blade but didn't do much to the rock, then used a diamond blade and cut it like nothing
Kato
The more teeth the cleaner the cut will be

Conductor562
You definitely want a high tooth count blade. A plywood blade would probably work good.
