Interesting. I didn't know that either. Good to know the relationship with Works & Rockwell. Wonder how well they will sell?
I'm not thinking well at all. The cordless power tool market is pretty saturated in all markets. I would be curious to see how Flex is doing regarding sales.

Big organizations probably won't take the cleaner. I would try contacting churches and nonprofits they might be able to use it.

Merry Christmas to the entire TIA crew!

Sorry for the late reply but I gave you a referral.

Here is a site that sells adapters https://powertoolsadapters.com/
I know the tools still work, but considering the cost and investment in new batteries. Depending on the amount of tools you have it might be a better investment to look into buying something new to replace them. It is wasteful and full on consumerism, but it might make the best financial sense.

I'm sure most of the fuel injected OPE engines were basically throttle body injection. It would be the cheapest way to go cost wise.
-
Interesting stuff would have been even cooler if they had pricing information. I know someone posted an old Harbor Freight ad and they had name brand tools back then before everything went private label.

The only tool brand to release a cordless belt sander was Ridgid

This saw was intended for the DIY crowd. SBD could do a cordless tile saw but the capabilities and price point would be significantly more. It seems like Porter Cable is now exclusive to Tractor Supply as a house brand which seems like a last gasp before the brand either is killed off or retired.

Same thing with using brake clean to clean and de-grease metal. The UV light from welding breaks the chemicals down to phosgene gas which was a chemical weapon they used during WW1.

Just a quick Google search mentions a ton of health issues with welding galvanized steel.

How old are the batteries? Rigid has the LSA if you registered and a battery warranty of 3 years. Hopefully they might be covered under that. I have heard of people manually charging batteries by using certain methods, but they do seem highly risky.

Today I fell into a deal I could not pass up. A Scar heavy in 308 and a PSA AR-1o in 6.5 CREEDMOOR and a Wilson combat 45
I'm sure that still wasn't a cheap purchase though. I would like to get a Scar but the prices are just crazy.

Tell me about it. When I worked for the Cadillac dealership in the late '90's, GM still had a 20% stake in Subaru, and the cafeteria at the General Motors Technical College campus in Northern Virginia proudly sported the logos of every major GM brand at the time Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Hummer, GMC, Saturn, and Saab. The dealership went from exclusively selling Cadillac in 1999 to also selling Hummer, Saab, and Subaru by 2001. Of course, my time there overlapped with the Opel-based Catera's run--"The Caddy That Zigs!". There were so many badge swaps that I am still learning about them, but every major auto manufacturer has been doing this for decades, whether it's Ford/Mazda, Pontiac/Holden, or Dodge Mitsubishi.
I wouldn't mind going back to the 90's the automotive market is so freaking boring now no one is willing to take any risks.

Man and I thought the GM badge engineering days were confusing!!

Lowes and Flex could have a winner if they pull the Milwaukee playbook when TTI took over they really positioned the brand as a good value proposition with great features and tech. What got people to buy into Mke was the innovative tools, but also the fact they had crazy promotions back then like buy a kit and get 2 4.0 ah batteries.

It looks like Metabo and Bosch are either out a Lowes or significantly scaled back.

And surprise surprise its big green aka Ryobi!!

You have the torque clutch set for fastening and not drilling. When drilling you want to have the arrow on the drill bit icon.

I would reach out to someone on MKE's Facebook page they are usually more willing to help a customer out. You never know and you might just get a CSR having a bad day.

The Carburetor is most likely gummed up from sitting its a side effect of ethanol in gas.
-
Paul is right its probably not worth investing any money in repairs at this time. You can get the Harbor Freight Warrior drill for 34.99 and possibly even lower with a coupon. I would also look into Ryobi just because of the depth of tools offered.
what brand and modle saw is this

My thoughts are possible something from Harbor Freight back in the day. Most major brands like Eric mentioned have a bold style and lettering. This looks like something made under a private label brand.
