Not too into seeing movies in the theaters, ticket prices are getting out of control. Im lucky enough to piggy back off my sister's netflix account so my wife and I like to search for movies on that. Right now im glued to the tv, Im a sucker for christmas movies

She does like those toms shoes. For every pair sold, they give a pair to the needy. My budget sucks this year. Living off credit cards till GI bill kicks in next year. I'll be a happy man once I finish school and can work full time again.
Hey man it'll all pay off in the end, theres no such thing as too much education. Im sure your misses will appreciate anything you give her for Christmas. The toms shoes sounds like a great idea

Got my wife a hitch for her little suv and a bike rack to go with it. We got into biking the last year so she'd appreciate it. Also got her a bunch of stuff from victorias secret the woman loves her clothes and shoes.
How about a nice pair of shoes? Women love shoes. Or i know its a little last minute but you could also make her something useful. Last year I made a section of our walk in closet into a vanity area for her to get ready at. Cost more time than money.

Im no computer expert by any means but I swear by apple products. Some have mentioned your paying a premium price for the name but I disagree. I bought my macbook back in 2008 when they first came out with the aluminum body, I believe its the 5.1. Thats going on 8 years and the thing is still just as fast and capable as it was when I first bought it. I dont know, maybe its just me, but any pc whether it be laptop or desktop I have ever owned has had a short shelf life. Constantly requiring updates, this and that and then slowing down and eventually crashing. The only pc's I see around that are older and still operating well are ones owned by people who know how to take them apart and fix themselves. That said tho, a mac's cost is twice that of a similar spec pc. So thats to be taken into consideration also.

Looks great! I like the see through drawers

those diablo blades look promising. Ive cut a few branches with Milwaukee's "the axe" sawzall blades and they hold up pretty well.

Would definitely like to learn more in electrical. I can do the very basics but any further than that I really feel uncomfortable unless I have someone who knows what they're doing helping me.
Im very lucky as my job provides training and schooling in pretty much every department (plumbing, mechanical, welding, machining, and electrical). I even get to dabble a little with smaller wood framing projects. Electrical is the only one I have kind of put off. We run 480 in our facility so there is literally no room for mistakes or your fried. Dont want to die before im 30, especially at that place haha.

Their screwdrivers are also hard to beat for the price, they're cheap enough it doesn't matter if they get lost or damaged.
I agree and disagree. I bought a set of screwdrivers from them and while most of them have sort of held up ok, alot of the philips have been stripped from the screw heads haha. Literally turned a screw and twisted the philips head like play dough. I think the whole set of i think 10 drivers was maybe $8 tho so yeah its so cheap you dont really care if they get damaged. But at the same time, I still feel like I wasted money even if it wasnt much.

...why not show the board on each run though? That bothers me...could have been anyone's slip. Not saying that car isn't that fast just thought it was odd they cut the camera exactly before post on each run. >.>
I was thinking the same thing. Usually people do this if they grudge race or something along those lines and don't want people knowing what they're capable of running. But then they are showing the printed slips right after, kinda weird. Is it just me or does anyone else notice the trans slipping like hell? lol
Freaking bad ass car tho none the less!!

Hmm it really depends who is asking to borrow. My father can take what ever the hell he wants. That man's loaned me and im sure has lost many tools by me in my younger days, so thats a no brainer. There are very few friends who I trust enough to use my tools.

I love my porter cable. Cuts nice, the stock blade isnt bad at all. No laser, I hate cutting with lasers. Came with the saw, rip fence and hard case for under $100
