Dude.....you can still talk "AT" non festoolies just not "to" non festoolies. It's like they say.....experience yourself in the lower caste, just don't live the lower caste.

Well Kruton your all set! Let's see what else in the festool line we can sell you now. Let's see you'll need a festool dust extractor. Then a festool plunge saw. Oh out of money now! Hehe. Your a good sport Kruton.

Thanks! Those are hand hewn 8x8 sticks he harvested right from his property. I'm going back over Monday and finishing up about 6 more mortises. They are purlins for the upper deck. I'm going to help him at his barn raising at the end of June or beginning of July. Really cool, hard work but a lot of fun.
You are a good buddy, this is the stuff I love to do. There is nothing more satisfying then post and beam.

Ok I have seen the x2 in a demo and the person running it did not feel there was any more power over the 18v. But that's good to hear that the 36v had a noticeable difference. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah it's not a bad vac by any means. I do wish the run time was longer. Seams like 20 minutes is the time I ran it on a 3.0, a 4.0 and a 5.0. All were about the same run time. Maybe the new 9.0 will get you 30 minutes lol. But I tell you for that quick little 2-3 minutes clean up job, it's great. Thanks Comp for posting.

I personally think he deserves it and we selected him knowing that he is a mod. We didn't choose Chris because he's a mod, it's because he's a great member of this forum, honestly, if we took in account his moderating duties we would have selected him sooner. I truly appreciate the sentiment but I cannot under good conscience accept a prize awarded democratically to someone else. To me that just seems wrong, it's like accepting someone else's birthday present.
I agree with you Bmack 100%. Chris was voted on by the forum members, not because he's a mod. But because he's a good guy and a great CREW member. All the mods. Are great! And are very much appreciated for keeping this a great forum for us. And I think there should be a way to say thank you and have them accept it, no matter how cheesy it is lol. Chris if you truly don't want this and are holding out for a festool, haha. Then we will find someone who will appreciate it. Thanks!
