The were 2 pictures that were 360 that could be posted.

nothing else new I noticed except maybe those jawhorses.

Those look an awful lot like the Triton superjaws, or that just me? Don't get me wrong, I want Dewalt ones as much as the next guy but I don't want to get my hopes up.

  2. Hey TIA crew, just came back from a trip to Home Depot and found the 8 gallon Dewalt dust extractor on a pretty significant markdown. From what I understand HD markdowns are pretty regional but I wanted to share in case someone wanted to try and replicate the deal. Happy hunting all.

  3. Most of us are familiar or probably own what I consider large tools from Dewalt like the miter saws, job site table saws, and even the thickness planer.  Does anyone know if they plan on putting out other large tools like a stand alone drill press or a spindle sander? Personally I'd also love a router table.

Any other you guys would like to see? Or is anyone close to the Dewalt camp able to provide some more details?

I have some used DeWALT stuff I want to move on out to make room for new Milwaukee stuff....I would rather pick up but would ship at buyers expense or deliver within reason. I am going to Lancaster PA this weekend from NH so anyone in between I could meet up......

DeWALT 20V Brushless Blower with 5.0 battery and charger used a few times $120

DeWALT 20V Brushless  Hedge trimmers with 5.0 battery and charger used a few times $120

DeWALT 20V Brushless String trimmer with 5.0 battery and charger used a few times  $120    Or take all three tools , Blower , string trimmer , Hedge trimmer with 3 batteries and 3 chargers for $300

DeWALT 20V DCS361 Cordless 7 1/4" Miter saw with 5.0 battery and charger used a few times $200

Shame you're only doing local or I'd quickly take the miter saw off your hands.

Go to Amazon or Acme Tools and you can pick up a DCE560B for about $210.

Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for. I did a search for caulk gun and my results came up empty.

  6. Evening TIA crew, a few weeks back Dan and Eric put out a video of the new 20V caulk gun.  Do any of you black and yellow insiders know when these would be available for purchase either online or at a big box store? I've got a big bathroom project that I've been putting off ever since I saw that gun at the Dewalt media event and needless to say my wife's patience is getting thin.

  7. Seeing the Dutch Dewalt brochure that Kenneth posted in the laser topic made me wonder something. Does anyone know if Dewalt has a stance on shipping items overseas? I ask because there was a page which had a router bit case for sale and I've never seen one marketed in the US.

Or would any kind individual be willing to ship these bits to us poor souls who can't get them?

Met local rep while at HD. Rep says if it is on the Web Site now  it will be in stores Aug 15 (at least for his stores) most of the 20v product will be part of a separate news release likely fall availability. Asked about the caulk gun he said it is a major step up from the old 18v, be worth the wait. Had a hands on with flexvolt...WOW Just WOW!!!!  did not have date for power station or 9a battery yet.

One would think that DeWalt would hyper up a press release about new 20V tools. Having said that, they probably don't want to take the luster off of their new platform either...decisions, decisions. Any news on maybe a 20V sander? I heard that they're working on a brad nailer but the biggest concern is size, Stuart on Toolguyd mentioned that DeWalt didn't want it being the same size as their finish nailer.

Now that I really like, don't know if you need it on a 60v platform but there are only so many tracksaws available

Agree with Jimbo on this one, would have really liked to see this on the 20V platform as well. Not sure if I can justify getting into this new platform just yet.

Having said that, thanks for the tool news though. Any other tools your friend is testing but you can't divulge info on yet?
