Just saw this topic. I wonder if Handyman still has some floating around to buy.

Just wondering if anyone has insider information on an event from Dewalt this year? If I recall correctly, they usually come around June (Tough in the South, Flexvolt announcement) but someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Weird question but for anyone who’s actually seen it, roughly how tall is the fast charger with a 9.0 battery?
-
You guys think we’ll ever see a FV pressure washer?

One day I will look in this thread and see a 20/60v router and sander and I’ll smile and be happy. Until then I’m pleased with the tstak radio.

Sorry to resurrect this topic but I’m having a similar dilemma. My local store has them on clearance for $250 with a battery and charger but I can’t help but think that this means a new 120V that can run dados is right around the corner.

They were announced at IBS 2018...Dewalt is going to irritable bowel syndrome conventions now? Sorry I couldn’t resist.
On a serious note, I wonder if Dewalt is trying to get into more shops with this push towards storage solutions and shelving. Come on Dewalt, make me happy and come out with more stationary tools like a drill press.

Have these clamps been put on display for anyone yet? HD’s website says that a few stores have them in stock but I didn’t see them out with the rest of the clamps.

will this mean irwin will be getting rid of its clamps or will they continue to make them? Many of the clamps DeWALT makes are basically same design as Irwin clamps.
With Stanley Black & Decker buying Irwin last year I figure this is just rebranding of the Irwin line under one of their flagships in Dewalt.

Walked into Home Depot today and noticed all of the Bessey clamps were on clearance or gone. Looks like they’re clearing out room for the Dewalt clamps. Hopefully that means we’ll see these clamps on the shelves soon.

I wish there was some parallel clamps. Not sure I would use f style.
Ask and you shall receive. They have them in 24 and 48 inches. I did a search on the website for Dewalt clamps and found both as options. I can’t figure out how to link a pic but they’re on there.

Ima brand whore so I’m glad to see team black and yellow step up their game in the clamp department, even if it just rebranded SB&D. Really excited to get some Dewalt parallel bar clamps.

Kinda hijacked this thread from the tripod light...sorry Hugh....i want that light sooo bad...getting dark now earlier....I want to retire my Ryobi flood lights and use my Dewalt batteries.......kinda like Dewalt hijacked the entire light from Milwaukee..lol...but I still want it 😊
Yeah, I'll take heat for the hijack too, my bad. What's the price point on the tripod?

Just go to HomeDepot .com enter your nearby store and look up the local ad. Almost as easy as going to toolsinaction.com...
Ive put in both the name and Dewalt part number with no luck on the HD website.

@Jronman...it would .....be a dream to know info 🙂.....example I just bought the Dewalt express folding workbench (3sec open, you probably saw it ) $99 less 10%...acme.......I walk in Home Depot tonight and there they are in the special deals area $69......drives me nuts 🙃.....
I know that HD clearance deals are region specific but can the same be said for these special deals? I need 2 of these tables and would like to save $40-60.
Anyone see these at this price in Houston area? Paging Ricky McGrath...

Getting back to wishlists I'd like to talk about stationary tools that I'd love to see in black and yellow:
- Oscillating spindle sander
- Benchtop drill press
I feel like they're only scratching the surface with the scroll saw. Don't get me wrong because I'd like to see a lathe, drum sander and cabinet saw but I'm not sure how feasible those would be.

Let’s see them go after the wood worker now
20v ROS
60v belt sander
20v trim router
60v plunge router
60v or 120v vac
Sent from my iPad using TapatalkPretty much my exact wishlist. Throw in a 20v biscuit joiner and I'll be pretty close to complete.

At $99 for the bare tool I might consider buying 2. If they drop the price to $79 it wouldn't even be up for debate.
Anyone know what Acme's time frame is when items are up for preorder? Should we expect it in stock within the week or longer?
-
Do we have release dates, or even ballpark release dates, for anything? I'm particularly interested in the mower, fan, and table.
-
Think we'll ever see a rider mower powered by FV? Similar to the Ego that's currently on the market?

yeah, look at my list above (2 posts higher)
BUT there are also secrets !!!!
Think we'll see these secrets in august?

Question for Ricky, why was it a failure? Do you think they could correct the mistakes of the old corded model?
I'm curious about this too because I'd really like a cordless belt sander and with Flexvolt I figure there would be enough power for it.
-
Pretty excited for this as well. I didn't see a bare tool option though.
-
At $300 for the kit, what do you guys think the bare tool will run for $219?
Any news about tomorrow?

Any chance these new releases have already been mentioned by others on the forums. Specifically something that rhymes with stouter or random morbital brander?
