It is a triple hammer sibling. Same base Mechanicals. Not sure if it uses the same motor or not. I'll be opening it up to compared to the triple Hammer I opened up.

Did you open it up yet ?

I'm not even going to read your wall of text. I'm gonna assume it's thesame thing you post everytime. I hope for your sake you just copy/pasted it from the last time.
A small tip tho: if your crew has a makita crdless plunge saw that bogs down, then tell em to put the blade in the right way

I think it depends on your line of work.
For Framer Joe the Dewalt is probably the best option because it can handle job site abuse and meet harsh expectations.
Cabinet or Shop style guy probably the Festool.
Cant speak on the Makita but with joe saying it bogs down I would put it in the shop style category
It doesn't bog down. Thats just joe's bias speaking

Rougher than the Grizzly?
No grizzly in Belgium. Don't think that brand exist here.
Of the cordless tracksaws that I Know off and tried myself. deWalt Festool and Makita
-
The deWalt is the ' roughest' track saw you can have. Shitty handle, shitty counter intuitive plunge action, not even a positive stop at 45°. It's almost a spring loaded circular saw that happens to be able to run on a track

Just to clarify. I am not a shill, just being silly. Companies send products for showcasing and review. I have zero obligations to say, hey, this is awesome. I critique everything equally.

The Milwaukee shills are the easiest to identify. They're the ones who cite the PowerState Brushless Motor (tm), Red Lithium Batteries (tm) and Red Link Plus (tm) technology.
There's one in particular who fits this criteria to a T and his show rhymes with Snarky.
Oh yeah...this saw looks sweet, too.
Ah then I've easily noticed him being a ' shill' without even knowing the word

Is shills a positive or negative thing ? I'm confused here

Only for small self tapping screws in thin metal I've always thought

The motor seems clearly off set from the center of the blade no ?
-
Doesn't Wormdrive mean that your motor is placed on a 90 degree angle compared to your blade?
( We don't got any Wormdrive not hypoid saws in Belgium. They don't exist here )

As already mentioned, quite a few Makita X2 tools beat out the Flexvolts in independent comparisons. The circular saw seems to be the lone example that is commonly regarded as going in Dewalt’s favor, largely predicated on stall-resistance, although it’s a worm drive vs hypoid...so there’s some apples to oranges with that. In theory the efficiency of the hypoid drive would be getting more run time per amp hour while the extra stall-resistance of the worm drive would come up as an advantage far less often in real-world settings.
Aren't all the cordless saws just basic sidewinders ? ( I think that's what you English people call it )
They may have a rear handle but the motor is still sticking in thesame direction on these rear handled saws as on sidewinders

Cheap and simple beats complex and expensiv
That's true. But for now those 4 pole brushed motor that have equal power to a top brushless are still quite alot bigger and heavier. Example the biggest Hilti drill. It's the heaviest, bulkiest and biggest high end drill around.

Ah....so two years before and stilllllll can't beat dewalt flexvolt...my bad...I got confused because no one can touch flexvolt tools... Makita is funny
Makita's plunge saw, chainsaw, blower, recipe, SDS max and mitre saw disagree with you Joe.
There's more then your circular saw

Yeah, I am waiting for an upgrade of DDF481 (or DHP) drill. It will be probably lose the all-metal chuck though.
Why would it loose the metal Chuck ? Makita's high end have always had a metal Chuck.

Don't think anytime soon. It's still up there with the top dogs. I think only the new gen 3 from Milwaukee has it beat.

Both with suffice and you'll be happy with both.
Makita has a larger selection tho. Specially for OPE.
And all fat pack batteries ( 3 amp or more ) are interchangeable without any loss of power ( bigger Milwaukee tools need the biggest batteries to function as intended. )

Metabo cordless 9" grinder
in Hitachi/Metabo
Posted
Don't even know off any decent extensive review on the unit
Now... Tech wise and grinder experience wise I'm gonna take an educated guess that it's by far the best cordless grinder out there. Don't think it'll let you down in anyway.
The Makita 9 grinder is Abit of a toy compared to the metabo yet my customers are satisfied with it so the metabo should be excellent
