it's a good 20lb I just used it today to cut 1/2in plywood for a door. No issue when using it. It has not been used since the late 90sCutting brick is a dusty job and dust kills tools, to see this saw still going just shows how well built it is.

my grandfather was a contractor. His speciality was brick building. He even built his own house without a college degree( never went). He retired in the 1990sThat is awsome i love old classic tools

I have other tool my grandfather used on the form called " my grandfather tools" if you want to see more. The blades where made of steel and on one of them you can see the word skil

the line of battery is craftsman and that was a gift. i thinking about going with dewalt, milawuekee, or bosch. i was wondering if you can cut two sheet of plywood that are 48in long on a single charge.

i am looking to update my grandfather skilsaw from the 50s. should i buy a battery saw or another skilsaw. i would also like to know the run time for the battery. i will be using it around the house and sometime at work.

thank for the help its my grandfathers saw when he was a contractor and he started in the 50's. his specialty was brick laying. the saw still had the steel blades with it when i picked it up.

as anyone used the drill 90 by milescraft got it for a present and it seems to wide to be used. as anyone have any experience with this attachment?
