  1. Are those the Skil 77 Magnesium saws? How do you like them? I have a really old Skill worm drive that has seen better day's. I'm thinking about getting the Skil or the Bosch worm drive saw and retire the old one

Buddy the mag 77 are nice very light but you gotta be a little more delicate with them there not as tough as the old skills have you tried or heard of makita hypoid saws there great and powerful bassically same as a wormdrive but more efficient

  3. Makita is an amazing brand there tools arr great i run makita but my framing crew i work for runs milwaukee for cordless and il say that milwaukee is great and if ypur that invested in milwaukee i wouldnt change but at the same time il give makita a few one ups on milwaukee and one of the big points is chargeing times i mean milwaukee seems like it take forever to charge there batterys compared to makita and on a job site were your running all cordless tools its a big deal and i never really looked at that point until i got with a crew that runs cordless tools because it really is annoying wen all ypur batterys are down and you gotta wait and in my mind running 2 platforms isnt a big deal or a bad thing variety is good and milwaukee and makita are on top for powertools

  4. It looks dumb I would have made that another room. The owner must be compensating for something..lol Is land expensive there?

Land is fucking expensive here and the owner is some old mob ties man with his wife his best friend owns the second hpuse witch we are building he bought the property like 40 years ago but ya.the house lookd nice in my opinion its just.big as fuck and thats what he wanted so

  5. Why did they design the roof in the back like that, so much wasted space looks like a slip n slide. Yup that roof is going to take forever to do

Theres alot of wasted space in this house i mean theres at least 20 feet of attic space (hight) he could of easy put a 3rd floor up there but ya when they designed this house and roof i think the owners wherr like make everything as big as possible and go bigger lol

  6. So it's more of balance and feel thing then?

Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Ya they are 16 oz but swing like a 22 oz great balance and wont wear on your elbow wrist there bassically an all around great hammer and yes pricey but if you are using it everyday it does bassically pay for its self its just forking up the money lol thats the hard part

  7. Wow, those are some pricey hammers. I am going to assume that if you use them everyday though and that is your lively hood it is more justifiable. I'll just stick with my Estwing for now, it is at the top end of my price range for a hammer! So as a guy that uses a hammer maybe a couple times a week is all, why are the stilletto's so pricey? I have never used one, so I am curious to know what the differences are between say a stilleto and an Estwing since I have one as a reference.

Stilettos are basically the standard for framers really plus you get what you pay for bassically a hammer that will last you a long time life time warranty plus its good for your elbow if your swinging an estwing all day your elbows gonna be fucked after years plus the stilettos swing really nice and there are the cheaper stilettos like a woode. One and fiber glass one but the tibone is really the standard plus solid one peice frame and side pry but ya i really want a tibone stiletto just gotta save up but ya im swinging a shitty dewalt and i hate it

  8. So yesterday i was at lowes with my son just wasting time well my wife was looking at marshals anyway i found a dalluge hammer and really wanted to buy it now im skeptical about wooden handled hammers but i know a lot of framers who swear by them but im also waiting out for a stiletto tbone2 but close to 300 for that and the dalluge was 137 so kinda big price difference but what really stoped me was that fact i bought a new occidental leather pouch and hammer holster on the saterday oh well what can you do

  11. A bit irritating that makita only seem to bundle their worst and cheapest impacts with their top of the line drills. But yeah, it made me buy another one, so I guess the joke is on me.

Not all the time maybe in the big box stores they.match there crappy impact but when i got my makita combo with hammer drill i got there 3 speed impact and its great power speed i love it

I have to share it this way since i can never upload vids on this thing .......but anyway today was truss day so someone on the gound at the time of video that was me obviously but ya someone on the ground would strap up the truss and my boss would lift it with his zoom boom as hes moving it around and up the guy on the ground is rangleing it to keep it tame and straight then we lift it up and get it on the plated and scaffold and the 2 guys on top would drag about 80 ft lol my arms are sore but went smooth
