  1. I think we will start seeing a lot more "assembly" coming back to the USA. China, is not the cheap source of labor it use to be from what I been reading. However, I do believe they will be a supplier of the parts, has they been building some amazing state-of-art part factories. Even tech companies like Apple, are bringing back assembly plants back to the USA.

  2. That's gotta be super fustrating! I haven't bought a ton from grizzly but their customer service has always seemed great when I have. Try a phone call or an email. Maybe you will be able to get your parts quicker

I called them after I got the notice, they said they waiting for the parts to come in, the ones they have in stock were also defective. I might add, their customer support is awesome, very friendly and knowledgable.

  3. Sucks to hear that Steven what was wrong that they recalled it?

The motor pulley on the saw has an over-sized bore -

"During saw operation, an improperly secured motor pulley and its machine key can come off the motor shaft and be thrown with great speed by the rotational force of the motor. If this happens, there is a small chance that the machine key can be ejected through the table opening and strike the operator or bystanders."

  4. Good Day Folks!

I finally was able to purchase a "decent" table saw (Grizzly G0771 10" Hybrid Table Saw) to replace a piece of junk bench top one. Well, less than 2 weeks after it arrived, I get an email about a

recall, and in big bold letters "Stop using the saw immediately!" until we send out the replacement part. I called them today, and they stated they hope to have the replacement part shipped by the end of June.
