Here's a little video of what is happening...
I had the same issue bought it with the 9.0 starter kit to. I brought it back to Home Depot spoke with the Milwalkee Rep he exchanged the saw no questions asked. He gave me just the bare tool.

Yup I have them they can be used as a side cutter similar to a spiral cutting bit expect for a drill. I used them on drywall,foam,1/4" ply, etc. I bought mine from grizzly not sure if they have them anymore

It's a nice saw for the price I saw at Home Depot the DEWALT 745 was on sale for 279. If it were me I would go with the kobalt

Great buy love that light

I have them and a track saw I still use them with my router. As long as you check for square before you make your cut they are great and they can be used as a clamp

I was very lucky when they first came out aw Meyer tools was having special trade in your old hammer and get any stiletto for $75 I couldn't pass it up trade an old plumb for a 10oz wood handle finish one. Always use it to trim no complaints power to weight ratio is great

Get a v grove diamond blade for a 4" grinder chase the cracks and fill then in with an epoxy crack filler depending on the width of the crack you can use a product called cement all its a heavy duty non shrink grout Home Depots stock it . You can use mortar for the small holes in walls

Sounds like you got a nice setup. That's a nice Bosch miter saw. I use a biscuit jointer a lot when I do furniture cheaper then a festool domino and in some cases just a string of joint

was it just the ergos you liked better? i was looking pretty hard at the makita palm router when they had the $25 off purchase.
The egros helped but the valve for all the bases in the kit . Sometimes I run into odd ball jobs and feel like it would come in handy which it has. But the Bosch was solid wish they offered a lot like Makita overall I'm happy with the Makita has always come thru

I need mitersaw
Table saw
Compressor
Compact router
Oscillating tool ( probably getting rigid jobmax)
Laser
Palm sander
Rotary hammer
And many more that are not immediate needs

Just my opinion over the years of tools I used and felt were good hope this helps
Dewalt miter and table saw worth every penny
Porter cable had a pancake for 17 years before I replaced it and at 99 you can't go wrong
Compact router go with Bosch colt although I have the Makita now I would have gone back if I didn't invest in the Makita kit
Multi tool started with a Bosch then got the fein both great tools my brother inlaw has the job max and loves it
Laser pls
Dewalt or Milwaukee both great sanders. Bosch makes nice ones to
If you can a afford it go with Hilti if not Bosch is solid in rotary hammers
Again this is just my option from my time using all different types expensive tools to the harbor freight specials.
The woodworking shows are going around. If you have the time see if a show is in your area it's best place to try all the tools you want and get a deal. Hopes this helps

I have had the Bosch colt and the Makita. Makita hands down feels better In The hands more versatile when you purchase the kit all round router. Don't know much about the dewalt

Need suggestions - Best drill bits for concrete with rebar
in Accessories
Posted
Try using rebar cutters https://www.boschtools.com/us/en/boschtools-ocs/rebar-cutters-22558-c/
I'm drill concrete with rebar and steel embedments the best method it core drill with water but a cheap alternate would be a rebar cutter drill with standard Masonary bit until you hit the rebar then use the rebar cutter should have any issues.
