  1. Haha I know right! Betty's a big girl that's for sure. I can load my Dewalt gasser by myself but it's always easier with someone else. And yea I know what you mean about someone bringing something to you to fix after its to late... It's like their afraid someones gonna accuse them of breaking it.. When most of the time something catastrophic could have been prevented!
  2. Agreed! That's my favorite corded tool!
  3. Psh at least the bitch has got wheels! I auctally like maintaining equipment and changing oil. It's not a big deal once a year. And most compressors have the Honda gx series engines, I like to call mine "1 pull Betty" Hahahha
  4. Oh yea almost forgot 3 Dewalt compressors. 8 gallon gas wheelbarrow, 4.5 gallon d55146, and the 6 gallon porter cable clone with the 15 extra psi lol
  5. Agree with you Torontotoolman Dewalts cordless tools feel like toys compared to makita and Milwaukee. Dewalt cordless offerings are terrible for the most part. I'd have to agree with most people that they are asleep at the wheel. I however do own the dw782 and compact table saw, along with the 20v framer, and a fleet of their hand tools. I've had their mig weld framing hammer for almost 2 years now, and if have to say it's my favorite.
  6. Yea dude compressor clean up blows Usually got a 50' #12 or 14 cord 150' of airline The compressor itself I'd say easy 20-30 min clean up if you like to warp everything up like a white guy so it's tangle free in the AM!
  7. I typically use the paslode or pneu-fast brand nails. It usually depends on what's on sale. I like the paslode nails because they offer a full head nail, sometimes it looks better I guess for exposed plywood or interior framing. I haven't found a holding power difference vs the clipped head. However the pneu-fast nails are the cats meow for a few reasons. The glue on their nails is incredible. If I have to take something apart I get pretty frustrated, because it's not as easy as with the paslode nails. It usually involves the sawzall with a thin kerf metal blade. Also the pneu-fast nails have a larger nail diameter in the 2 3/8 variety (.120 or .131) which holds plywood a little better verses the paslodes .113. However the pneu-fast nails take a bit more power to drive. Usually around 120psi (versus 100psi w/ paslode nails) but they hold a lot better IMO. My guess is that they'd be a PIA to drive in any cordless framing gun. Haha sorry to ramble but just wanted to share my experiences! FYI the only place I found that carries the pneu-fast nails in stock is menards. http://www.pneufast.com/home.jsp
  8. Look into the bostich smartpoint guns. I've got the 18g brad and 16g straight finish. You could always buy something and return it if you don't like it. I'd forget about cordless nailers if I were you. If your doing custom trim and whatnot cordless trim guns are to goddamn large. Trust me you'lll be frustrated. Get some smartpoint guns, flexeel hose(s), jc 10 compressor and make some money! The problem with reviews is people with little experience write about the first few moments with the tool and it always seems like I hear "I haven't used it yet but it seems well made"..... Yea I bet lol
  9. Paslode pneumatic anything is the way to go! Their tools are solid, fast, reliable. I have a few of f350's, 1/2 crown stapler, 1" crown stapler, and the positive placement nailer. In Wisconsin and Illinois paslode definitely runs every jobsite I've seen.
  10. Check this out, stumbled across it Don't have much info on it http://www.directindustry.com/prod/bostitch/product-102771-1382323.html
