I kinda can't believe that the bar failed before the EMT pipe I had on the handle did. Too much leverage!

Forgot to say- other than the criteria listed, I have complete artistic freedom. My other idea was to build a hexagonal shaped cabinet under it, and have the cross be on top

Not kidding- a few years back a tree fell in his mother's property, and he took home a large cross section of pin oak. Thing weighs about 150lbs and is about 3' in diameter- do you guys have any ideas for it? The only criteria is that it needs to use the whole piece and it needs to be done before I graduate (I'm a freshman). I was thinking something like Jimmy Diresta's vampire spike table, what do you guys think?

Yeah, it's an extension cord that I made brackets for. That shit is HIGHLY insulated tho and it uses 8AWG wire tho, so it can definitely take the abuse.
The Fein brushless is a dream, Chris!

Well, first thing to do was finish the new workbench- god damn MDF is heavy. My 1945 Craftsman saw took that shit in stride, tho... I love that thing!
By the way- remember that sale on toolnut?
I fucking love my shop.

Thanks for the compliments! In response to hemdale, it stays in the bed and protrudes about three inches or so. Now I need to make drawers for under... Looking at Matthias Wandel's plans for underbed drawers, but I'll have to modify them for carpet. Any of you guys have experience with rgb led strips? Want to put mood lights under the bed.

This thing is cursed. While making it, my planer broke down, my sanding belts broke, and other bullshit. But in the end, I think it came out well.

I sound like a lazy bitch when I say this, but a router set. Then again, I am a lazy bitch. My favorite set of chisels is probably the four piece set I found on the side if the road a few months back... I don't know what they're made of or who made them, but they're great. You know, you could buy a cheap set and harden them in your shop- you could probably do it with a set of mapp torches and some fire bricks.

Definitely the Milwaukee gen 2 fuel drill XD in all seriousness tho, my worst tool was probably my. HF 3gal air compressor. Literally takes about forty minutes to fill up, and the thing is only 0.4 scfm at full capacity. I still have it, but it's on its side on the floor of the shop. If my nail gun (18ga) can only fire five shots till it dies, I'm just gonna use a hammer.

Holy. Fucking. Shit. I've heard somebad stories but 60K on lortab and spas... And she didn't even get charged by illegally ordering lortab until after the fact? I swear, shit like that is what makes me question living in the US. $36... Atrocious. One of my Co-Workers went through a very similar situation 5 years ago. He got a call one day from a bill collector about a credit card bill he didn't owe, or so he thought. Come to find out, his stay at home wife ran up $60,000 on a credit card he knew nothing about. She was having the bill mailed to a friends house. Had absolutely nothing to show for it either.
Come to find out, about half of it was spent ordering lortab from Mexico, the rest was spent on spa days for her and a couple of her friends, and she's spend over $10,000 on designer purses. I'd like to think that's an obscene amour, but I could spent that on tools before daylight, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt there.
They had 4 kids and he got raped in the divorce. After he paid child support, the house & car payment, and all the other shit he was ordered to pay, he had $36 left to live on. He lived in an old camper in his mom's yard for about a year. Eventually she fucked up though. She was on pills, the kids missed 40 days of school, she was dating an ex-con, and he ended up with the kids.
Good luck brother. I certainly hope all goes well for you.
