  1. New power station has to be ‘up there’. I’d be all over a current-planer-sized brushless belt-sander.

Will we ever see a 5” ROS like Makita’s?

My other immediate wish-lists (T50 stapler, inflator, glue-gun) would move Dewalt to Ryobi territory and I don’t see that happening.

If we’re talking la-la-land dreaming, how about a Bosch-beating Electric Bike, not one of those drill-powered units. ;D

    it is multi voltage

you will need a country specifig adaptor, NOT a transformer

it is a loose power cable; the plug-in spot in back is covered/insulated with a rubber plug

the power plug fits into the (sealed) case even if a flexvolt battery is pluged

it of course has also a AUX and USB port

    O0

    Thankyou!

  3. Apologies for the noob question, I know the baby chainsaw has tool-free chain tensioning but can someone confirm what (if any) tools are needed to remove the entire bar? The manual isn’t 100% clear on this.

I’m planning to pick up a couple of bare tools while I’m in Florida in December and breaking down the chainsaw will help me pack it into my luggage. O0

  4. Ok, as we’ve drifted into the Twilight Zone, how about a 18/20V hard skin remover?

If you cross Gollum with a rhino, you’d probably end up with something that resembled the soles of my feet so the new toy better have an extraction port too!

I can live without a rafter hook on this one.

    That's the best price I've seen.....i ordered another pair.....I think Milwaukee has a 199 deal for 2/9ah plus a charger.........thanks man !

You're telling me. I'd be paying nearly double that on Amazon UK. I ordered a pair as I have a friend over in Miami at the moment willing to carry them back to UK.........then I found out that all the airlines are limiting transportation of Li-Ion batteries to 160Wh (checked or carry-on). If it was me, I'd take the chance but I'd rather not ask my friend to run the TSA gauntlet so I cancelled the order.

I agree with you in regards to finish work. they aren't replacements just yet for certain projects. I made a dining table out of Hickory and needed to use nails to attach a trim piece to the side of the top. None of the cordless nailers I had could handle shooting 2" nails into hickory end grain. This included the dewalt 20v 16g, the greco 18g fuel nailer, or my buddies Ryobi 18v. I had to use my old pneumatic to complete it. That is where something like this could come in real handy. It should be more powerful than current cordless nailers and it can also be used for other tasks like filling up bike and car tires in non powered areas.

With respect, instead of working your way through four power tool options, would it not have been more efficient to just use a hammer?

  7. Can't remember the last time I bought a 'kit' when a bare tool option was available, so don't really see point of whining about crap chargers.

If all the kits came with top-spec chargers, people would then complain at the subsequent price being OTT.

Ah,ya....do you ever install doors ? @Big Adam All door hinges are philips....about a million other items that come from non American countries use philips screws on there products that I must remove...before I use or install it.....no philips in the U.K. ?

Virtually all 'cross head' screws are Posidriv in the UK trade.

Philips is from the stone age.
