  1. you gents may have noticed that im not an advocate of cordless

anyhoo, we have a rat terrier, that goes into 'kill' mode whenever a woozel trespasses in the yard. she's been skunk sprayed 3 times in the past month. i'm now stuck checking the back 40 before releasing the hounds (we have 3). yippee ki yay.

    maglites suck, aren't bright enough.

picked up a milwaukee 2353-20 spot light, 12v. damn thing works very well. illuminates the yard very well, and, it seems, to sip the battery juice lightly.. the only issue i found with it, is that there is a switch setting, hi, lo, strobe.

hi and lo toggles between each other easily.

however, once you mistakenly fire up strobe mode, it's a royal pain in the ass- almost- throw- the- bastard- to- the- ground- mode- to- disable it.

Is there something about foam board that i'm missing? Should be able to zip right through, being soft compared to wood??   It does perfect for OSB and occasional 2x lumber when I need to make cross bracing for plumbing installs, has no trouble with that.

Although I do always have a 4ah battery on it, that really helps

3ah. i guess it was the knots

  3. cordless, i use them for tight access, like popping a hole into the framing at the top of 2 walls. of course, the tinner runs his duct in the way. have a stick makita with dead batteries. have a 12v dewalt, with dead batteries. i may pick up another.

corded, a milwaukee 1/2 to drive hole saws when im doing a 'hot tap'. if the hole saw catches when it comes in contact with the pipe, AND the drill is positioned properly, it wont knock you in the snot locker. had a hole hawg grab, hit me in the chin, and i was out. at least i didnt fall off the ladder, my partner steadied me until i came to.

  4. drove to the 3 diy stores.

    home crappo doesn't carry bosch

menards only had the 18v 6ah

lowes had the 6ah at the same price, but, after a thorough inspection of their meager offering, 'found' a 2 pak of 3ah on close out at $ 54.

they sure seem to take a long time to charge.

supposed to be a nice weekend, we'll find out how well the box sounds with the top down

  5. just had a brainstorm............... no tunes in the coronet. just the throaty rumble of a 440 engine.

i aint cutting holes anywhere in that car for speakers,

realized that the bosch 360C works cordless.

that is going into the back seat with a mp3 player!

after i get a few batteries, of course
