No schedule that I am aware of.....more or less shocked HD has lowered the price already. Just want to keep a keen eyes on it.
I realized I have a 5% HD coupon and Menards 11% rebate is going on......Brings the Miter Saw down to $592 before tax
If I can use a HF 20% coupon......down to $495.
Tough Tool Reviews on InstragramI would certainly buy one if I could get it at one of those prices... although it would mean another battery system...

They say in the video that Ryobi only goes up to 4ah in the batteries. Do you not have the 5ah in the states? They have been around downunder for quite a while now.

Good Buy!

Makita certainly was a pioneer when it comes to Battery drills. All I remember seeing when I was young was Makita battery drills.

Wow! A brand new 17 year old drill. How could someone own a power tool that long and not use it... such a shame

I have wanted one of these for a while now, but never seen one here in NZ yet.

I finally got around to building a 'Ripping Saw' (long narrow table saw). Had been meaning to do it for so long. It is a simple table saw just for ripping long lengths of timber. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8ozZ9bpuqc

I ended up getting the x2 rotary hammer. It's not great on chiseling but it drills holes really well. I was on the fence about it. With everything going brushless these days, I have to admit that i'd rather put my money on something that is newer gen. Same thing with the recip saw, i'm holding out for now and using the ol' plug in one till the bl 18v comes out.
The brushless Makita recips are great!

I must get around to posting some pics.

so milwaukee just released a big teaser.
If makita you are listening. I'd love the cordless miter saw, if it beveled both sides!
a collated attachment for the drywall screwgun
an updated cordless rotary hammer
a brushless multitool
and release the new recip saw already.
thanks.
Updated Rotary hammer? What is wrong with the brushless 18v and 36v and the other 2 or 3 18v?

They were giving this radio away at the Makita trade day I went to at the beginning of the month, so they are available here in NZ.

Makita still sell 14.4v tools outside the US along with many other tool companies.

Sorry I meant to say cordless. I know they make pneumatic nailers I want to look into a few of them

They do make cordless (with gas) ones. http://www.makita.co.nz/products/model/GN900SE
I wish they would make an 18v one like Dewalt do, if thats what you meant.

I'm not sure of something that makita makes that others don't but I certainly wish they made a good Brad nailer and that they made finish and framing nailers at all
