  1. I agree the M12 is overkill for what I want to use it for, but the M4 on the other hand is looking good, just more $$ than I want to spend. I like the DeWalt version, just wish it had the pistol grip.
  2. The wife and I went to HF Saturday to get the 18" 7 drawer end cabinet to go on my 44" box. I pulled the ticket and took it to the register and the girl (manager) said "I believe we have one of those in the clearance section". She took us over there and sure enough there was one there. Box was jacked up and it had a $120 marked on it (normally $189). Checked it as best I could but couldn't tell much other than the box being jacked up. The manage left, said she had to go print a ticket for it. A few min. later she returns said she can't get the printer to work so she'll let me have it for $99!!!!! Got it home and out of the box, I can tell it'd been dropped. The bottom isn't quite "square" and the bottom drawer sticks a little when pulled out fully. But for $99 I can live with it!!!
  3. We still have a K-mart near us, but it's not what it used to be either. No matter who bought who, two struggling companies joined forces to become one very large turd going down the drain. I don't think they can be saved, they've lost their reputation with the American public.
  4. Our local Sears (small store) closed a while back, but the next town over had a large full sears complete with Automotive center. Now it's closed also, just the automotive center is open. They do have a small selection of tools. I was able to warranty a socket there. Now that their tools are made in china I think the craftsman brand is done for.
  5. I'm looking for a lightweight cordless screwdriver to use when doing light work like on the dash of a vehicle (think stereo installation) and such. Would like it to have Lithium ion batteries and not be over $100. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  6. To the OP..........I have the HF 44" top and bottom boxes and they are great boxes. I will be getting the side boxes soon to expand what I have and I didn't have to give up my first born to get them. Being just a weekend mechanic I think they will last a very long time. Smooth slides and and sturdy construction.
  7. Thank you guys, glad to be here.
  8. Howdy folks!!! Robert here checking in from Mississippi. Did some lurking around your site and seems to be a great place. I'm no mechanic but I do most of the maintenance on my fleet of vehicles (4), so tools are an important part of my life. I'm always interested in new tools and finding good used tools!! Looking forward to hanging out here and getting to know all the fine folks at TIA!!!
