I have a pretty complete set of Milwaukee M18 stuff from drills to flashlights to portaband and a few Bosch cordless tools as well.

Bigger has always been better with me.  But last year I bought a tool only right angle 12 volt Milwaukee drill since I had batteries and chargers for my Milwaukee jackets. I liked it so much I bought this little bad boy. When running screws in wood projects the M18 impact is just too much and the drill is too bulky. This thing is just right.

I need to look at more 12 volt stuff.

I have M18 Surge and the Feul Hammer drill, but I use this screw gun 90% of the time. It is just the right size and power for most applications. Interestingly enough I also got it because I had the Jacket first.

I have been wanting a Sheet sander, and the price isn't too bad($40). But I know when I buy it, Ridgid will release one that is probably a little slimmer with better dust collection or at least a standard port size.

I see a use of the inflator as a good way to blow debris away from working surface/location.

Why do you need the best of the best for home use? Sorry but I just dont get it. You'll have huge $$$ sitting in your shed. Much better off buying only what you need, when you need it. And why not try a DIY brand? If you spend $800 now and then $800 again in 6-7 years, you'll have much better tools at the end of your 10 years than spending $1600 now.

I have to agree with this. I have a new some Milwaukee Fuel tools, some new Ryobi, and 10-15 year old Makita. The Makita tools still work, but new Ryobi tools are just as good or better. Cordless tools are constantly changing and top of the line tools today won't be top of the line 5-7 years from now.  Perhaps the most useful advise is what you think you will use/need and what you will actually use the most are often different. I have bought a Milwaukee Fuel tool before and barely used it where as I used the heck out of the a Ryobi tool that I thought would be used sparingly. For DIY/at home/ occasional use. I would invest in a quality brushless hammer drill, a quality reciprocating saw, and quality circular saw. The cut-off tool, impact, jigsaw, multi-tool, etc usually doesn't matter too much if they are brushless or DIY grade brushed.

    LOL, OK.

Well it needs some type of connectivity since its not self contained cellular. So the cheap and easy way to do that is with bluetooth.

I fly drones as well and some of the guys put bluetooth tracking tags on them but does not work well as not enough people run the app and distance is so limited if you lose it in the woods..  I fly 3 miles away from takeoff spot often so have to use something different.

Blue tooth range is supposed to be up to 100 yards if sufficiently powered. However that is highly subject to a ton of conditions. It may work out at that length outdoors. I would consider going with some sort of GPS device. possibly https://www.amazon.com/Trackimo-TRKM002-GPS-Tracker-Locator/dp/B01CIDUK1U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1487265108&sr=8-2&keywords=trackimo\

That said, for $30 the tick might be worth a shot. If you don't find it good enough for the drone then slap it on a tool.

What ever happened to the 3 that were supposed to be given away? Never heard anything since the video was released.

I actually won one. The Surge is definitely my favorite impact over the brushed one and corded one I have. The only thing I have noticed it struggles with was 42a642a5-d7f7-4ff1-846e-cfc92409c61a_100

It did not struggle with Milwaukee Titanium Shockwave Drill Bit Kit (23-Piece)My application has been mostly indoor fasteners for mounting tech/office equipment. The quieter action does make a difference in that setting.  I have also used it for decking screw applications and it has preformed well.

Sometimes management has no clue. This is priced more than a charger at retail price!! http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Battery-Charger-48-59-2401/202043587

Yeah I would take it back and demand a refund. I also have one I would be willing to give away.

A side note. You think the manufacturers would wise up and enable chargers to plug into each other and/or perhaps dock with each other. It would beat using 4 or more plugs on power strip.
