Could give the homeless an apprenticeship? Then they can have a job to make money to buy tools which will increase tool sales in addition to giving to the toolless.
You're onto something here.... now you just need the funding:/ start the homeless local 286. Brothers for a new beginning. Put em to work as laborers on jobs.

My buddy gives me shit about buying tools. Tells me I'm am addict so i always say the aa greeting. Do it on here sometimes to. If i had that kinda money though, tools would be on me for the crew. Be chump change lol.

How ...how does one get chosen for that...? I want in...I want to give input on what the builders need...want....Oh Dewalt let me help you...." help me help you" jerry maguire.....I will personally help Dewalt make millions....and avoid bad tool decisions.....lucky lucky people...
Luck. I ran into a rep at a store. We talked about tools obviously and i bought that gyroscopic drill. He ended up giving my card to testing guys who put me on there list. Met em twice now. Hopefully it keeps coming, and it sounded like it would.

oh ok. I'm expecting a flexvolt router if a router comes out even though the battery would be a bit big haha.
With the 5a battery it will be about the same size as current 1amp palm routers since it will be brushless. I asked about its size cause the prototype was a lil taller then i would like. He told me it was gonna be a good 4"shorter then the prototype. Which would make it perfect size. He also mentioned most of these coming with larger flexvolt batteries in the package deal.

Meet with dewalt testing/ developments rep today. Looks like there coming out with a brushless router, heat gun (which was really cool), and a 4"wood/tile saw (like the 60v grinder but blade is to the side). After the prototypes get chosen i get to test em after manufacturing of finished tool.

I use pop rivets daily. I can't justify that price tag when i can buy a pneumatic rivet gin for 30 bucks and a compressor for 200. Hell a cordless compressor now. Not worth themoney. If they brought it down to the 200 dollar range to 300 dollar range they may have a tool people will buy on a lather scale.

Now that i have some Bosch 12v tools i would probably buy one of these kits. Pretty neat drill, bet it'll be pricey. The bosch shears are almost 300 12v or corded. Good thing bosch makes quality tools.

I use dewalt. One area where dewalt innovates. The 780 is awesome but the cheaper models, aka without the accessories and gadgets, are great saws as well. I have 3 dewalt corded chop saws. The oldest one has 7 years hard use and is still going good and cutting true.
What to do with old tools???

I usually give it away to someone who wants or needs it. If i charge anything its not much. I accumulate tools myself and once in a while i clear out doubles i never use and pass em on. Speaking of, @Fletcher94 bout to ship your package been waiting on some things to get shipped in. It's coming soon I promise lol.
