I'm still waiting. This anticipation is killing me...along with high blood pressure and cholesterol!

Me too. I'm not sure if my wife was more annoyed with me being on here or now with me checking the door for a package.

I'm shocked at the power rating of this little Kobalt drill though, I just looked up Dewalts compact drill offering (DCD796) and it's 619 in/lbs, Kobalt has 650 in/lbs. The premium DCD995 only has 708 in/lbs!
Little sucker got balls for a compact. Good weight in the hand too, Kobalt is stepping up in the world it seems.
I have the drill driver set and it is sweet. You will like the drill.

I did, I've done research in the past so I knew what to look for. These were easy because of the unique levers and stamp. The 1/2" ratchet style is very well known.
That's cool. I guess I will be spending some more time on the googler. I love old tools and thinking about there history.

1/2" is from 59/60
1/4" is from 65-70
I haven't done much research, but did you just google old craftsmen ratchets or where are you getting that awesome information?

We picked one up a few weeks ago and it seems pretty good. My wife wanted a new auto screwdriver and liked that it is rechargeable.

Here's a picture of Fred, with his big brother Rex. Rex is a Mix of Rhodesian ridgeback, and bull mastiff. Fairly slim though considering.

That old SK ratchet is sweet. I got some old craftsmen 1/2" and 1/4" ratchets when my grandfather passed. I have no idea how old, but there is a definite quality difference with these old ones vs the newer ones I have.

I wish I had never found this thread. It makes me want to buy more tools constantly because of all the cool tools everyone else buys. Then I am like boy I could use that tool too.

Wasn't ready for that shit haha. Who the hell uses a banana!
I don't know but my inner 12yo loved it. Banana will be the word of the day I think.

I thought it was used to put gauges in people's ears. Lay the ear in the slot then hit the punch with a hammer, but you said it is for woodworking.

Thanks for sending me all your information on PM. I am getting it all, but haven't answered everyone back. Once the week is up and we are back in town, I will be letting everyone know. Just an FYI to everyone. I am saw the information you sent and do have it. Congratulations to everyone.
Thank you for running such an awesome contest and everything you and the rest of the TIA crew does to make the forum and social media outlets possible. This is an awesome support group that encourages the purchase of more tools. Unlike my wife who thought I had enough years ago.

I sure like the ridgid modular storage boxes.
I have a set and love them. I hope they come out with more options like the new Dewalt box has.
