  1. Normally Adirondack chair design uses joinery which is plenty strong without using glue for additional strength. Marine grade or waterproof glue won't add much more than a seal for the end grain, if it is joined with something like stainless steel screws, but can make it worthwhile. If you're doing white chairs (a few coats) of a good exterior grade paint sprayed on should not need a clear coat.

  2. Just got 3 pieces of the new Husky Build Out modular system. So far love it. Easy to connect, strong holding power, latches seem Pro quality, removable handle, (easy to store in pickup with a cover) and very well made and designed. The only flaw I saw were the 2nd and 3rd tops wont stay open unless you let the handle down, and they need to make more accessories. But "3" pcs at $159 vs my one Packout rolling box for $139? Wish I had waited and started with Husky.

  3. There is almost no such thing as US agents for customer service. Amazon, internet providers, and other companies purposely hire foreign agents from Philippines and India who are willing to work for peanuts. Americans wouldn't work for the amount of money they get paid. Early on Amazon looked like the world’s best company, (taking a loss in profits) to kill off all competition. Now that Amazon has captured market share, shipping, delivery, customer service has gotten worse.

  4. My pneumatic brad nailer quit so I bought a Milwaukee M18 brad nailer.  Why doesn't Milwaukee nail guns come with hard cases? I understand it is easier to carry multiple tools in soft bags vs carrying several hard cases, but nail gun tips need to be protected. And for what Milwaukee charges they could give hard cases like some other brands. I guess they want you to keep buying packout crates to carry any new tools.

  5. I live in Chicagoland suburbs, and Lowes has the best quality, HD second and Menards is the cheapest in price but product quality is in question. Wood, Menards has the largest variety but the hardest time finding pieces that are not garbage. Fm2176 what you will find though is Menards sell way more non- home improvement store items than the other 2 combined. You name it dog food, deodorant, clothes, furniture, groceries, etc.

  6. Streamlight Stinger LED, has been the best flashlight I ever owned. I spent up to get a quality flashlight years ago when I started a side hustle doing Home Inspections, and it is definitely a great light. I bought so many cheap flashlights thinking it gives off light.... that's good enough. Boy was I wrong.

  7. FYI for you guys that buy lumber regularly. I was at Lowes today and the military discount does not apply to lumber. I was told the discount "cannot be used on any sale item or with any other discount, major appliances, lumber, plywood, OSB or gift cards.

  8. I bought the Milwaukee 0882-20 M18 Compact Vacuum for $99. Now I see why it was on sale from $171, it shuts off every 30 seconds or so. I sent it back for another one. This one is doing the same. So I checked the reviews on the Red Tool Store (something I wish I had did first) and there was 7 out of 9 with the same problem. I have never bought a Milwaukee product that I was this disappointed in.  Milwaukee needs to find a fix for this issue!
