Jronman
Every tool company has had some good announcements/releases. Makita with their sub compact line, Milwaukee with the one key reciprocating saw and 6.0 m12 battery, metabo with a new grinder and many others I haven't listed. I thought Milwaukee was the winner of 2015. Anyone think Dewalt killed it in 2016 with releases/announcements, maybe even a step above the rest? They introduced flexvolt with a cordless table saw and 12 inch miter saw, many 20v nailers, new 40v and flexvolt ope, and water resistant 6 bay fast charger just to name a few. I wonder who will "come out ahead" in 2017?
JimboS1ice
Yea Dewalt had a great year but its hard to really say, we saw Milwaukee introduce the 9.0, OPE, Awesome lights, One Key, Dywall gun and cutout, miter saw, SDS Max Makita - Kickass brushless impacts, sawzall Ryobi- ya Ryobi, introduced brushless drill and impact, new light, cordless trim router 6.0 and 9.0 Ridgid - cordless trim router, brushless grinder, brushless circular saw (ONLY 199!!) Kobalt - 24v tools with all batteries under 50 bucks! Metabo - 1300 in lb drill, 9 in Cordless Grinder! I know I barely scraped the surface but this was such an awesome year for tools so its hard to crown a winner but dewalt probably had the best year
Bremon
I don't think I could pick a clear cut winner. Especially if we are going by announcements and not release dates.
