Ruby
Hi, I was wondering if the saw is supposed to lock completely at 0° (90° angle) bevel. When it's at a 90° angle, it is locked and cannot move to the right....but it can move to left of 0°. Is there no actual locking mechanism...only the handle to tighten it up a bit? Brand new saw for me and want to make sure there is nothing wrong. Thanks Ruby
ToolBane
There is a stop in only one direction so it’s easy to set back at 0 degrees. Once you untighten then yes, it bevels freely in one direction and requires hitting a release to bevel in the other.
Scotty
I have the same question. I believe that the pin on the right rear is not engaging at 90°. The saw can still move to the left
