I've come across a few machines that are significantly cheaper than others. Are these low-cost options generally reliable, or should I be concerned about quality and longevity? Altan Posted May 22 Report Share Posted May 22 I had a new Stanley one as a gift from a friend and it did not work at all, SBD was not helpful at all for repair and spares, they wanted me to contact an Italian company who has made these welders for SBD while the welders are branded as Stanley, so weird!
