kilgore
I have used dewalt power tools for many many years now as a kitchen fitter with very few problems . However my dc330 cordless jigsaw has just started to run at about 2/3 of its original speed . Unsure if the gearbox needs grease or if its a problem with the switch . Has anyone else had this problem and how did they solve it . Thanks in advance for any ideas .
kanxrus
It could be a battery issue? Have you tried another battery? If it sound's normal, and run's normal it's most likely the switch if it's not the battery.
kilgore
thanx for reply . the jigsaw runs normal just at a lower speed than it should . sounds fine and all batteries are in good condition , . maybe i should replace the switch . kanxrus
Is it still under warranty? Date will be engraved where the battery locks into the tool.

kanxrus
If your thinking of repairing it yourself I'd still call your local service center and talk to one of the techs, I'd hate for you to take my word for it and then find out that's not the problem.
