Bosch VS Milwaukee Brushless 18v Impact Speed Challenge

Nice comparison. Even bosch has the extra 50rpm, But I almost sure Milwaukee will win that one. Because of the 4.0 pack and bigger pack seems like giving more cleaner power on impact driver than the small 1.5 or 2.0 packs.

Javier, is there any way you could do a runtime/power test with both on 4.0ah batteries? Or running the Milwaukee on 2ah? Wouldn't have to be video'd necessarily (we trust you :)).The possibility of battery size affecting available power, and the Milwaukee possibly running better at the start of testing are really messing with my head! :P

If you can't, no matter. Still appreciate the excellent video!

I don't have the Bosch ec tools anymore so the best I can do is retest the Milwaukee with a 2.0 battery . I need a 2.0 ah battery though.

I am not surprised at this result, I have 2 of the fuel impacts and Dewalt's brushless 3 speed impact and Makita's new brushless 3 speed impact (and the downshift model also) and I would agree that with #10x3.5" deck screws that we use the Milwaukee is only marginally faster, but for lag bolts or large self taping screws (which we do a lot of) the fuel guns are the fastest every time.

I will say that with all that power comes a trade off, the fuel gun will countersink the head before it sucks the boards together which is a pain.  The Makita gun has that one, as it seems the easiest to finesse and suck boards up tight if they are warped or curled.

Sorry I didn't realize I wasn't logged in.
