HiltiWpg
Looking at AEG tools (Ridgid) and I can see several of my old Milwaukee M18 and M12 stuff. The 18v SDS and 12v SDS for sure, recip, some drills look suspect as well. Big fore sure on the angle grinder too. http://uk.aeg-powertools.eu/AEG/media/Media/Catalogues/AEG-Catalogue-2015.pdf Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
HiltiWpg
Odd, I never noticed that AEG is available in way more countries than Milwaukee. Makes sense that Milwaukee is the marketing side of TTI. http://www.ttigroup.com/en/our_brands/by_brand/milwaukee http://www.aeg-powertools.com/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

JimboS1ice
Could they even be bothered to make the battery look a little different than the Ridgid, i mean the stickers are even the same.
jeffmcmillan
It almost looks like TTI just said hey pick whatever you want from our other brands and go market it in other countries. Are AEG and Rigdid batteries interchangeable? because then anyone on ridgid could supplement their tools with the AEG equivalent of milwaukee tools. I am sure you can get AEG cheap on eBay! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dwain
AEG and Rigdid 18V are the same stuff, totally interchangeable. But AEG seems to get into the higher-end (brushless) tools first for some reason. I see Milwaukee in their BL angle grinder, and brushed sds drills for sure, though nothing is identical. FEIN also use older Milwaukee drill, driver & wrench designs for their 18V line. And who doesn't think that Milwaukee have sold the rights of their hackzall to Bosch recently?
