This was a promotional item from Milwaukee Tool Australia's fb page. They also gave away a jet sky (a real one not rc) and other super awesome stuff.
What the hell man?! All Milwaukee North America gives away is a very few tools, tshirts, and lets not forget the scissors.

It's always nice to have a delivery, especially when you didn't have to pay for it.

Saw this on Facebook today. Looks pretty cool.

Pretty cool idea but worthless commercial. Why wouldn't you show it in action? Blah blah past, blah blah future. Last 5 seconds, Oh here's our tool buy it.
It's like a strip tease where the girl rides the pole for a couple of minutes, lifts her shirt up, and walks off the stage.

Welcome to the crew Steven.

Interesting. Never knew any of that.

Lol yeah. I'd have to dig them out of storage, about 5-7 lbs for the pair. Of course about a pound of that is the caulk spikes. They are basically linesman boots with spikes.
The boss, he's the one that told me about Nicks, when he wasn't wearing Romeos, wore Rangers. They are probably half the weight.

Nick's boots is my recommendation. http://nicksboots.com
They're expensive, least expensive boots are about $320, my Woodsmans were about $550 after adding 12" uppers, composite toes, and linesman shanks, they're worth it.

Milwaukee might feel that the market is too saturated now to compete in.
You mean like the scissor and marker market?

That's a really crappy over shopped photo they use.

Ouch! That sucks.

If you wear boots every day, and can justify the expense, I would recommend Nicks or Whites boots, I prefer Nicks. For the custom fit boots they send a sheet to trace your feet on and put different foot and leg measurements on. You can order lots of styles, safety toes and up to 16" uppers on the lineman boots iirc. Nicks are 100% American handmade in Spokane Wa. Being handmade there is up to a 4 month wait and they're more expensive than most boots.
