I was wondering if anybody has used this screwdriver and what do they think about it. It look interesting.
-
Yeah the home depot I go to carries the Infrared Thermometer, the Screwdriver, the LED High Intensity Flashlight, the Utility Light, the Digital Inspection Scope, the 5w Flashlight and the Headphone.
-
Home Depot carries them, I just got the Infrared Thermometer a few weeks ago.

I have the Air Strike Nailer and you can't go wrong with it, I use it for replacing baseboards and door trims and it works great, it has great power, it really sinks in the nails flush. Only thing it comes as a bare tool only no battery included, but if you already have 18+ batteries then your set. I work as a maintenance tech in a apartment complex and it's great not having to carry a compressor to an apartment for replacing just a few feet of baseboard. I also have their TEK4 Infrared Thermometer and it also works great.

Do you have the 9/16 one, that one is to big I don't like it. The 5/16 one is better.

We'll the bit holder is magnetic but not strong enough, the Phillips bit can stay stuck on the screw and fall, the double ended bit stays in place. What I ment by not magnetic is that the bits themselves are not magnetic.
-
I own both sizes and they are great, only thing is that they are not magnetic but having all those different bits and nut driver sizes makes them worth while.
-
My bad, what I meant was that I can latch them together.
-
Lol, didn't know they staked, I guess the ones I saw are not the ones you got, do you own the FatMax ones?
-
I've seen those, I was about to buy them because they are a few bucks cheaper, but I got sold on this ones because they can be stacked together.
-
Yeah, it comes in handy at certain times, like when I got the driver on my belt and I only have one free hand, but thanks to this bit I don't have to remove bits that much anymore. It's a time saver, only bad thing is that it is not magnetic, but the convenience of having the Square, Flat and Phillips bit, plus the 1/4 and 3/8 nut driver sizes makes it worth while.

The M18 Fuel is one handed to insert a bit but not to remove a bit.
-
What I don't like about it, is that you need two hands to take the bit out, unlike the DeWalt XR, which allows for one handed removal of the bit. But I got use to it so it's not a problem anymore.

This boxes are great, I own three, the compartments are big and deep but best of all they are removable, which allows storage of tools. Stacked up makes it easy to carry my tools. I like the see through cover. Here I got my Impact Driver, Oscillating tool, driving bits, oscillating blades and sanding attachments and screws. This one is for my miscellaneous. Here I keep my Multimeters, Infrared Thermostat, mainly my tools for HVAC.
-
The only thing I can think they can improve on this Driver is the chuck but besides that nothing else, so I say you should get it.
-
If your talking about the 20v Max XR Brushless, I have to say, it is a great Impact Driver, very light, compact and great control in the trigger. I know Eric and Dan gave it the Best Impact Driver of the year award, personally I would say the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Impact Driver is better, but you would not go wrong with the DeWalt one.
-
No problem, also you can find some at amazon, just type quick change oscillating blades and they have a brand called Kent that has the same fittings as the DeWALT and they sale them in packs, they have a 10 pack bi-metal e-cut blades for $32.89
-
The universal fit system ones do, I am using one right now from them and it stays in place, they have the same fittings as the dewalt ones
-
The Rockwell blades fit perfectly with it.
-
I got the bare tool since I already had an extra battery from my 20V XR Brushless Impact Driver, also got it from ACME Tools, got it just in time for a baseboard job I had to do. Great Oscillating tool.
