. On one house I was building the cabinets for I watched the painters use more than a case of caulk after one group finished their trim. You can only shake your head so much before the headache sets in.
Whats that saying caulk and paint make me the carpenter I ain't.
I cope all my joints. I use the Collins coping foot on my jig saw

On my jobs we start at 8am. Take a half hour for lunch and leave at 4:30pm. That is a 8 hour day. This is for a job where the owner is living in the home. Now if it is not being lived in we start at 6am and leave at 2:30. Now as for clean up that to me is job time. I start cleaning up 30 to 45 minutes before we leave.

Ricky is right. I found it a little finicky at first but once you get it dialed in it works great.

is $100k a good wage in Cali? I heard Cali has a higher cost of living than the midwest.
You would think that you life style would get a raise but for the most part it would stay the same. Back in 1990 I went to a job interview in Oahu and the salary sounded insane till we went and looked around the island and saw what things cost. A six pack of Coke was like $6.00 box to frosted flakes was like $5.50. We looked at a 3 bedroom bungalow that needed a ton of work $300,500.00 it was almost identical to what I had here in Baltimore that I bought 2 years earlier for $50,000 .

that sucks, i have been looking at these for my van, figures,, that would have been too easy
I think it is more of a liability issue. If they would brake loose in a accident and come flying forward and hit the driver or passenger they don't want the liability and dodge the lawsuit.
