  1. It is badged as 20 volt.
  2. Pictures popping up of their new cordless concrete nailer! I think they should make more tools in a clear option!
  3. dang they shut this down faster then when I posted the first flexvolt sighting!
  4. How about this monster? Custom from a dewalt right angle drill.
  5. Dang I just figured out why the fuel gauge looked incomplete or missing on the batteries...they're holes for ventilation when the fan kicks in. Must be a light sunk in a bit ...that button pushes in to get to it.
  6. The charger was fan cooled not the battery. The batteries had the vents. Just like the old 24 volt stuff...
  7. Dewalt is buying that thing back for sure...
  8. You got it.. they're definitely big! 6-8 Ah? And fan cooled like the old 24 volts...
  9. So I guess we are not allowed to talk about new dewalt tools on here anymore? Is this site controlled by dewalt? Whoever wanted that certain tool that we are not allowed to talk about wants it bad...up to $425 on ebay. Crazy.
  10. They just put a short video of it on their instagram page also...
  11. This is what I did...Not that flashy but functional. Just used an old base from an old DW919 flex flashlight, chopped it down, took out the insides of the B&D battery I had, cut a hole in the bottom to put the dewalt base in it, connected the wires to the terminals(make sure you get the correct +-) Glued it in, good to go. MUCH longer run time then those B&D batteries, and don't have to wait forever for them to charge with those super slow chargers they give you. Going to do a 20V MAX setup next since I did convert everything to that. Still have a few 18V batteries for my tools that are not out yet in the 20V line( Finish nailer, hand vac).....Still waiting DeWalt......

    Dewalt dw746x

I bought that saw back then for under 1K(saw only)....What kills you is the upgrades. The mobile base, Extra. Cast iron sides...with and without a sliding table, MUCH extra. Side table with longer rails, you guessed it, more money. Then the rear extension was the cheapest add on but still. It was a GREAT, heavy, solid saw, but have since simplified and compacted to the dw744 with my own custom tables I am very happy with.
  13. Looks great but price a bit much, and no need to add another battery platform to my lineup. I'll stick with my Black and Decker cordless blower, wacker, trimmer with the hollowed out b&d battery modded to fit my 18 volt Dewalt batteries. About to make another mod battery for the 20 volt dewalt battery just have to get a sacrificial tool and cut the base off it.
