  3. 77 and sunny, shovel the pollen, lol, we ended up with 26 inches , some places in NY hit almost 40 inches, had a cedar siding job scheduled for next week, thats not looking good.
  4. radius bends are tough to do to make it look uniform, looks like your dead on, nice job
  5. lol, your probably going to hit 2 feet, thats what they are saying here, put ice in the vodka, when the ice melts you will think you are drinking more. I dont want you to think i have a problem, lol, somebody told me that
  6. drywall nation mask caught my attention, i use a vac when ever i sand but i still get crap in my nose, always wear safety glasses but have a problem with fogging, so i forgo the mask, maybe this is better?
  7. just got done snowblowing 10.5 inches (1pm) coming down around 2 inches per hr, my biggest fear just came over me, i dont have enough beer
  8. i too am sitting through the same storm, i stocked up on beer, can food and charged all my batteries for my lights, im good to go. i left my credit cards in my van, the farther away the better
  9. i still think the tough system is the best out there, all companies have issues with there plastic boxes, i have two milwaukee hard boxes that hold my m12 fuel system and one locking tab broke in the cold when i slapped it shut. My buddy has all festool with their systainer system, and he had one box actually crack on him when it was in his van. job site and travel are rough on them.all my old electric tools came with metal boxes that still work today/ but i prefer the good plastic over the metal ones, it took me awhile too accept that, but they dont dent, rust, and they are weather proof, while still being affordable. You can still get good metal ones that do the same but they will cost you an arm and a leg
  10. i love watching this guy, hs says whats on his mind
  11. i took the two metal pin ones off the tough system radio and put them on one box and they work fine.i did a live chat thing with them just last week, metal pin ones are unavailable ?, and the plastic ones are on back order. they never broke from carrying, i had five of them stacked together on the jobsite, and they got knocked over, the top three boxes broke the tabs on the box that was attached too it, then same thing happen in my van. they work for what they are intended for, they just cant take much abuse. i still havnt giving up on getting the metal ones, dont know what they.cost. my local runnings store has the new tough box that is attached to a wheeled cart, and that one has metal pins also of yet another style. i just seen those a few days ago. im going to inquire about getting those. the radio still has the best style .Iim going to inquire about the warranty thing, and see if i can work out a deal for the metal ones, i reall dont want the plastic again if i dont have too. ill pay for an upgrade
  12. thanks knarlycarl, and bmack, for your imput,im going to grab one of my 12v 6.0 and try it out at home depot today, im looking for something smaller to go along with my toughsystem radio. there are plenty of times i just dont need all that sound, like when im working in some ones house. but i want to have nice sound also, and this unit will accept my phone as well as my ipod, well see.
  13. has anyone heard this system yet. My local home depot tried to pair it up with his phone but was having problems. He says its a dewalt tough system radio killer in sound quality, but of course he has to say that. It has six speakers, dual 40 amp, 2.1 usb, runs off m12, m18, and ac.also bluetooth. strictly a speaker system, i got to handle it but not listen to it. its nice and compact
  14. beautiful looking set john, nice job
  15. watched a video on this today, its got my attention, looks like it would be great for doing interior trim work. i have a small IR now that i use for that but at 3450 rpms, its quite loud. thanks for posting
  16. just picked these up. im curious about the 6.0 battery. charged it up yesterday, off charger it read 12.4 volts, which puts it close to 11 volts in use. what im curious about is info on bottom of battery. 12v-72wh. that would put it around 6.6ah. at 10.8v [cool]. cant wait to try it today. im going to tax the m12 fuel circular saw for sure.
  17. i have two dewalts a 12 and a 10 inch, the 12 is probably 12 years old and still cuts great. i bought new and better blades though, festool is the only one where you wont have to buy a new blade right out of the box. i had a chance to try my friends festool but i walked away,, was afraid. you wont be sorry about the dewalts though
  18. 40.00 for just about any fluke is a BIG score
  19. i dont know, when i bought my van i had it outfitted with 3000.00 worth of adrian steel shelving units, nothing is secure there i have bungi cords all over keeping things on the shelves. I want to take one side off and use the the tough system, i guess ill just have to bite the bullet and make my own. ill just need more beer
  20. that sucks, i have been looking at these for my van, figures,, that would have been too easy
  21. i have had mine for alittle over a year now. love the sound best out there. this could have been a really great radio if they got rid of the crummy power supply and supplied a 120 volt detachable power cord. the rubber feet wore out in about 6 months, and the power supply went last week. 54.00 from dewalt for new one. the compartment on top could have been used for a couple of outlets. i dont use it for my iphone or ipod, im afraid the vibration in there will destroy sensitive equipment.Would i buy another one? probably,, just for the sound alone. im hoping they come out with a new model, with a real ac hookup, and maybe some outlets. i would definitly buy it. all in all you wont be sorry if you buy it.Im a contractor and my tools take a beating on the job site.,and actually it has held up pretty good. All the guys on the job site ask me when im going to turn radio on. they would rather listen to mine.
