Interesting to say the least. Still you have to compare it to how all the others are built and go from there. No question Festool is way over priced and also no question it is a very good quality tool. But the real question is how can a barrel of oil be at 40 dollars and gas still be at 3.50 a gallon in California? Somethings just don't add up.

Worst thing that ever happened to me at work was when I was working for "Johnson and Johnson" running a machine making paper products (don't ask) and I saw a little piece of cloth on a feed belt, As it went around I grabbed at it as it was going around and it started to suck my hand into it. I yanked it back out and said to myself, "that was close" but when I looked down my thumb nail was just barely hanging on by a little corner. Just pulled the whole nail right off instantly. Didn't hurt right away but by the time I got to the doctor it hurt like hell. Took about 9 months to grow back. I was lucky that was all the happened.

Yeah we are paying about 220 bucks a month for everything including internet. That's for 6 TV's with HD on three of them and recording capability on the three with HD. A very expensive luxury to say the least.

Looks good. Let us know how well the battery holds up how it cuts through a sheet of plywood . The DeWalt I have will start to bog down unless the battery is fully charged before the cut.

I have one of those 10" miter saws and it has been great for the small cost of it. Can't complain.

Never got into preseason games in any sport. I just check to see if anybody got hurt. Making season ticket holders pay full price for those games is just greed by the league and owners. But, it does mean the season is not too far away. Go Packers.

My old Ridgid table saw gave it up last week and I decided to buy a new one instead of fixing the old one. I think it needs a new switch.

Costco isn't a place to go for tools but they do have some good buys every now and then. I have a Costco and a Sam's club membership due to a business we run. We spend 10, 12 grand a year in those stores and not much of it on tools but like I said sometimes you do see a cool deal every so often.

The difference between a good wood worker and a fair one is how well they can fix a mistake so that nobody notices (except another woodworker).
