  1. Shame it doesn't come in a T Stak box or Toughsystem box
  2. I have some Makita drills and they have two small rubber buffers to stop the battery from wobbling about. Dewalt would benefit from a similar design. All my Dewalt cordless tools suffer from the same wobbly battery issue but the connector block isn't rigid inside the battery shoe so the terminals never loose contact.
  3. I can't wait till this comes out and for Dan and Eric' to get there hands on it for a proper T.I.A review and a comparison with the old xrp version dc618
  4. That certainly sounds more promising than what my main dealer told me. Just wondering why they were so convinced the model number would be different for the UK ??
  5. My Dewalt main stockist in the UK told me that release date over here would be the end of the year
  6. Hope it hits Europe before the states like a lot of the new releases have
  7. Looking at the picture of the threaded rod cutter, I hope it's going to have some kind of length stop for repeated cutting of studs.
  8. The threaded rod cutter is a most for commercial pipe fitters and hvac installers. The tool I want more information on is the dcn660 finish nailer.
  9. The threaded rod cutter looks handsome too
  10. Looking at the pictures... Does it have 2 speeds like the DCN692???
  11. Can't believe you guys have talking about this for nearly 3 months and still no one has put up any pics!!
  12. How accurate would you say the cut is with porcelain tile? I have a rubi bridge saw and the cut is always wondering off 90' and not always dead straight either, very frustrating when using narrow grout joints. More often than not its actually the blade the requires refreshing with a cleaning block, but personally I think it's to do with how low the blade sits. Unfortunately you can't adjust the blade height on a bridge saw!
  13. Yes all look very nice...... BUT WHERE IS THE XR LITHIUM 20v FINISH NAILER ??
  14. Any update on a release date for the finish nailer, desperate for the new 20v machine
  15. It's been a few months since I posted this topic, just wondering If there was any update on a release date.
  16. I have the dcd790, have experienced the chuck coming less as well. Thought it was me being a bit limp wristed.. I used to have the dcd785 never had trouble with that chuck
  17. Someone must know something as I've had two emails in as many days from tool distributors advertising large discounts on the dc618 finish nailers. Bit of a coincidence Can't understand holding back on promoting a new tool before it's release, as some people would hold out instead of buying what's available possibly from the competition. By the way what's Q4 ?
  18. Can't believe it's taken them 3 years to release a finish nailer. I'm glad I picked up some more stem batteries when I was last in the states. But I would drop my old dc618 for a new xr lithium nailer. Just a shame they don't show previews of up and coming tools till their out in the stores
  19. Has anyone heard or seen anything in the pipeline from dewalt. Can't believe they've already brought out a second version of the 1st fix framing nailer and still no sign of the finish nail gun...
  20. Any chance of some preproduction pictures
  21. Come on someone here must know something about the new nailer
  22. Any news on the xr lithium finish nailer release date? Fed up of nursing my old 18v dw618 nailer, seriously how long does it take to combine the new dcn690 framing nailer and 16 gauge magazine... Come on Dewalt get your act together
