Copper is great and all until your jerk tenants rip it out for scrap. That's exactly what happened to my mom's rental property a couple of years ago. Had to replace the entire plumbing with something that isn't worth anything at the recycling/scrap yard. Went with pvc I believe.
That happened to the house we bought last year. It was a vacant house for a while and had squatters living in it at one point. They ripped out all of the copper water lines and even the electrical. Found that out from some of our neighbors. From what ive seen there is a mix of copper and pex in our house. The house was originally built back in 1957.

Yeah Grip-on are awesome,if you can get those I highly recommend. Way better design.I havent tried the tekton versions but most of their tools are really nice and quite well priced.

Not a power tool, but I did get my broken Razor-back shovel replaced this week with the life time warranty.
We dug up some palm stumps with it in our front yard, the head was bent and twisted slightly afterwards. I shot them some pics of it on their facebook page and they sent me a new one. they have good customer service.

I just use stones to sharpen mine. I have some from Fuller tool chisels that are nice at least for my DIY projects. Pretty sure marples are awesome chisels still.

Cool tool,im a machinist and it would be sweet to see a review or actually try it out
-
Nicely done, that looks like it would make a sweet mancave.
-
The Bosch also works awesome with a chisel bit. It easily takes out tile.
-
I have that Bosch SDS and it rocks.
-
That is pretty slick,so glad I dont live in the snow anymore.
-
I'm a bosch guy,so naturally I say go with them, especially for SDS type drills, the fuel SDS is supposed to be pretty nice as well. M18 Fuel ive seen in action at work by a few guys that own them, they seem as good as folks claim.

The Bondhus ones are great, they do fit fasteners quite well thats for sure.
-
Nice, those Freud Diablo blades are awesome.
-
I use both the Bondhus and the new Mayhew twisted hex keys. Both are really good,I prefer the mayhews for the smaller sizes like 3/32 and such. they just feel a bit better to me.
I use hex keys all day everyday at work,in a machine shop its probably one of the most used hand tools.
The goldguard finish on the sae set and the silverguard finish on the metric set work quite well I should mention. The tips dont really were out badly.

I was curious have you tried removing grout with your m12? Our masterbath is nearly fully tiled, was thinking to redo it one day. And there is a few cracked spots id like to fix.

They are the same as Flextorqs. It's just they called it Torsion bits in UK/EU.
I think Maxfit is the same minus the impact rating?! (for drill/drivers)
Makes sense, the magnetic holders are really awesome.
-
Look alot like the Flextorqs which I like alot. Ive had a set for around 8 months now they seem to fit screwheads nicely.
-
Yeah I was kinda waiting on a brushless version, funny you mentioned that. I have the newer brushless 12v drill/drivers they offer.
yeah the quick change mechanism seemed kind of odd on the porter cable one and would definately be way more bulky and awkward with larger batteries.
-
Those are supposed to be really good, ive been looking at the 1/4 sheet version and the random orbit.

No pra-bleh-mo Bigmike!
for occasional use cordless options are really great. Most of the jobs a multitool is good for are quick cuts so runtime isnt really an issue (unless your a flooring contractor or doing a big grout removal job) I have corded Feins and the M12, i find myself grabbing for the m12 more often now because it is so convenient.. maybe when you have a need, go for one that fits in your existing battery platform.
This is an option ive been considering, since I have the Bosch 12v line, they have one that would work for me. This isnt a tool id be using everyday on a job as im not a contractor but would use it for stuff around the house, with my 4.0ah batteries id assume that it would work well enough for what id use it for. I also have the porter cable 20v line and noticed recently they have one too but need to learn which one would be better suited.
-
appreciate your review on this as well,I dont have one of these multi tools yet but am in the market for one. Thanks for your time posting this.

Been in the mid 20's in NorCal at night, had to wrapup my waterpipes outside. highs around 40F are typical in winter.

I saw on one of the tech sights I frequent that they pulled in $15 million off the downloads of this movie so far.
-
We rented this movie off the sony sight,it was nothing but a lag fest, and seriously dumb. The eminem scene was pretty funny thou.

Finally got my new mower today, been looking into the cordless options but for the money this seemed like a better value for us. Honda HRR216VKA is the type. 160cc motor. I tried it out this evening in the front yard,I love how fast it is. The speed control is really nice, very similar to some electric lift trucks ive used at work.
