  1. Wow I really like the look of that box I have been thinking of modifying my tool box a little bit and love the idea of having the retractable power cord.

One thing I want to do is make mine lock electronically by having to swipe a card on the front to unlock it.

  2. even without i just have to listen, they repeat the numbers like 12 times per commercial - at least haha

Make sure you get one that sounds trustworthy, nothing but the best for MadMan. Hopefully your wife can read our posts for you as long as you have to suffer with this.

  3. shit sam - too late....why you didnt tell me that earlier that its bad to stare in that laser.

i installed the laser washer, turned the saw on that the laser gets activated and put my head under the running blade to check if the laser really works. now i have that red dot in my eye and its not going away, like if you looked in the sun. kinda burning too....

ill check the laser tmw with the other eye, i guess my eye sight wasnt so good.

Dont Panic Madman hopefully you can still see well enough to get the phone number of a personal injury lawyer off of a late night TV add.

  4.

my miter saw model doesn't come with a laser

the european model has a laser - no clue why they removed it for the us model.

Because in america someone could put there head under the saw when its on and stare at the laser to long and damage there vision and lawsuits could happen.

  5. some of these prices are awesome but the one and only time I dealt with them I ran into the back order issue, what pissed me off most was when I called about it they told me not sure of date and they have not had any stock of that Item for weeks? I said why offer it on the web site I ended up cancelling order.......and got it local for $20 difference ............but had it in my hand same day.........

the store is surely great for walk-ins but online needs some IT work.........real time counter for stock would be nice or at least a warning of stock being low........

No our stock management in store is almost just as bad

  6. but not the "hot deal" ones, some from march 8-14 and some 12-14

You don't even know how packed it is on 3 day sales I don't even try to do anything then only work in the warehouse because if you walk onto the sales floor you make it about 40 feet on the Thursday or Friday and only 10 feet on a Saturday before some customer needs your help.

  7. It just sounds from this report that the laminate flooring is the product with the formaldehyde  problem. These companies need to be smarter if they want to buy Chinese materials. China can produce good quality stuff we do see high quality tools and technology come out from there, but you have to have your own inspectors making sure they don't cut corners. There was that big class action drywall lawsuit a few years ago. The drywall had too much hydrogen sulfide in it.

Thing is when talking to the mill owners it seems like they were very open about it being outside the regulations so looks like lumber liquidators knew this no mater how much they deny it.

  8. I was eyeballing the Milwaukee 2720-20 but it doesn't appear to be for sale on the site (either click through on the flyer or browsing directly).  Is it just sold out?

Looking at the prices, I wish I hadn't already bought the 7 1/2" Fuel Circular Saw (2731).  Even with shipping, USD $163 is a killer deal.

Yea our website development team is could be better if its not there call coquitlam main office ask them to fix it if they cant in time call one of the stores and place a phone order on it.

  9. Composite.jpgOn Wednesday, June 27 2012, a detached home on Maria Street in the Junction area of West Toronto suddenly sank on one side, coming within a foot or so of colliding with the house next door. The basement of the house was being lowered by underpinning the foundation when something went terribly wrong (exactly what may never be known) and the foundation abruptly shifted downward. The underpinning was apparently being done by FBR Waterproofing, as they had a sign on the front lawn.

The City’s building department quickly evaluated the situation and decided that the only safe approach was to completely demolish the building. By late Friday there was nothing left of the house but a pile of rubble.

The owners of the home, a couple with a young child, bought the house for $555,063 less than a year ago. It was purchased in a bidding war (the selling price was more than $50,000 over the asking price), and the extra $63 was undoubtedly (and ironically) added for luck to help them be the winning bid.

Because the structure was unsafe and might collapse further at any time, the owners were not allowed to enter the house to retrieve their belongings before the demolition began. The house was taken apart as carefully as possible, and many items were salvaged, but still the loss was devastating.
