  1. Since you're mentioning "consumables," maybe you could consider some sort of modification to the box or to your day to day, to suite your needs.... Some quick ideas that come to mind: Dedicated box with consumable products Cutting in a fiberglass window to a few boxes. Some sort of marking system, chalk paint on the box? Dry erase?
  2. T-Stack? T-Stacks are nice. But the only method to store them I have come up with is stacking or build individual shelves for them.
  3. And yes, overall, it does take up more room, but the space is compensated for by keeping everything organized and grouped tightly together. Nothing is sitting on top of another tool. It also frees up floor space and is easily adjustable if my needs change.
  4. I'm standing the wrenches on their side. It's saving a ton of room. I also removed my duplicates and triplicates so it's working out.
  5. I had my own construction business for almost 5 years. I recently took on a project manager spot for a remodeling company so my tools don't get used no where near as much. Each box is dedicated to a tool/trade. If I need my plumbing box, I grab that box. Electrical, paint, etc. then I have a box with small grinders, one with router bits, one with track saw, band saw, recip saws, two with various screws and fasteners, one with trim routers and accessories. When I'm done, one will be drill bits and tips, one will be my laser level. I'm taking everything out of the factory boxes and putting them in Tough Boxes.
  6. Probably have to tape the off, sand blast a line then paint. May have to try some different things out.
  7. That was my other thought. THEN I'll just do yellow and black stripes. How would it adhere to chrome?
  8. The newer wrenches probably are a fraction shorter or longer so they probably wouldn't even fit in my new foam. [emoji19]
  9. I was thinking the same thing. Rotary hammers or hammer drill impact the in the direction of the length of the bit while impact drivers impact in a circular motion in which the bit turns.
  10. Right again! [emoji6] I grabbed a few complete sets a few years ago. 25-50¢ a wrench from different stores. Apparently, I had stuffed nearly two complete sets in one drawer and it was a disaster. My dad has a couple sets too. The only down side is the red and blue stripes seem to be wearing off. I'm afraid of cleaning the wrenches up too much because I don't want to wash of the red/blue. I guess they are Lifetime Hassle Free so I may be able to get some new prettier ones.
  11. Yes sir. The dang wrenches slide in my tool box everytime I close the drawer. I've arranged them a half dozen times. I'm sick of it.
  12. I added the full master pack with all calculators.
  13. It has 145 different calculators pertinent to construction. It's pretty handy.
  14. Thanks Jimbo. I'm really hoping to get those dang brackets sooner than later. Turns out the site I ordered them from had Home Depot ship them. HD only had 5 in stock as their site said "out of stock" as soon as the 5 shipped. Now HD says they have them but the site I bought them from isn't responding.
  15. 4AWG based on the info you provided.
  16. I ordered the DeWalt online for pickup as one store showed 2 in stock. Unfortunately, the order was canceled as they couldn't find one to fulfill my order. [emoji19]
  17. Ask and you shall receive. Found a set of LED strip lights at HD. PERFECT for accent lighting the boxes. I'm still waiting on the DS Brackets. I also picked up three more Large boxes. So I'm going to have to change the layout a little. The seller is saying another week before I get the other 15 brackets. I'm getting pretty impatient here.
