We install A LOT of welborne prefinished kitchen cabinets. I just use a Diablo 96t 12" blade. I do put quality painters tape over the cut are so I can mark it so it's easily visible. I don't recall ever chipping the finish on a pre-finished trim piece.
DeWalt ran a HUGE line of tools that came with Tough Boxes last year and they sat in top stock. There are still a few tools in Tough boxes that I'm keeping an eye on for when they go to next clearance stage.
I would say no. You would not have double the runtime. For various reasons, but the two biggest are: 1. The power supply has electronics and a cooling fan that will consume power. 2. You ALWAYS lose power when converting from AC/DC and vice versa. You even lose usable power when charging a battery with another battery.
Got my hands on a Flexvolt battery today. I'm extremely curious as to how it works so I took some voltage readings on the terminals of the battery. B+/B- is 19.23v B+/C3 is 7.69v B+/C1 is 15.38v C3/B- is 11.54v C1/B- is 3.85v C1/C3 is 7.7v TH/C1 is 15.37v TH/B- is 19.21v Any other combination yields no voltage. My probes don't fit into ID, C2 and C4 so I need to get some wire and alligator clamps.
The clear lid boxes just started going clearance in my area. $30.06 right now considering going to buy a few and price match when they hit $X.03 price.
Here in Houston, Lowes hasn't ever carried 20V yard equipment that I've seen. Home Depot has had the 20v yard equipment on an end cap for at least, all summer. They just moved it all over to the OPE section in the past few weeks.
Seasons changing and depending on your location, every region will do different things.
I little birdy told me there may actually be an EXPANSION to the 20v OPE around Spring 2017.
Do not use adapter with premium batteries (DCB200, DCB204, DCB204BT, DCB205) in 18-Volt compact drills DC970, DC759. Use with DCB201, DCB203, DCB203BT compact batteries
