I hope you can find a better hero than ME! Lol. My wife actually planned for us to spend a day of HD shopping. I took the day off, she got a baby sitter and we headed out about 10am and got home at 9:30pm. I think I counted 13 Home Depot's that we went to. Half way through, I asked her, "have you grasped any of what I'm doing at all and how I find this stuff?" She said "nope. No clue." I said "now you see why it's so difficult for me to explain to people how to do it."
Saw a new tool chest stocked in the back of a local HD yesterday. My phone was dead so I couldn't get a picture. Will try to get some details in the next couple days. I believe it was a 40" chest.
I've seen these small diameter bits melt frequently. ESPECIALLY when using a traditional drill/hammer drill. I'll guesstimate I've melted over a dozen over the years. You'd think I would have learned but every time, I think it's just an isolated, one off incident.
They're available on a few online retailers right now. Go to DeWalt.com and navigate to the tool you want and select "Buy Now" and it will show you who has it.
I do my own maintenance on my truck. I did not for the first 75,000 miles because all scheduled maintenance was covered by the dealer I bought the truck from. I save about $50-$75 each oil change because I run Rotella T6 Synthetic (15 Qts). The Ford 6.4L engine is also a little picky so I need to make sure everything is done correctly. Racor also holds the patent on the oil filter for my truck so I need to make sure it's a Motorcraft filter as the generics are known to cause major engine failure on the 6.4L engine. I've asked the local oil change shops if they can get a Motorcraft filter and Rotella Oil and they want an astronomical amount of money to fulfill my request as they don't stock those items.
If you've ever used an MC nailer, they are incredible. This is a game changer for serious framers that use lots of joist hangers, hurricane ties, hip/ridge ties, post bases, deck ties, etc.
