  1. Ya thats a good idea befor i got into frameing i was a flat roofer and befor we torched this big ass roof me and this other guy signed and dated thw plywood with the black primer so in 20 or 30 years when someone re-roofs it they will see

Thats prettys cool i just have the paslode gas framer but at work ìv used the paslode stickgun its was beat up and old but still shotting strong paslodes is a good company iv only used there framers tho not there finishers and iv actually seen the ridged stick framer at home depot but that thing looked big as hell man i like coil guns better they hold more and not as big
  3. Ya between that and swinging a slughammer for like 8 hours today my arms where jelly by the end of it but ya there a must have im in love so.now i got to save up about 600 bucks i think so get one jhaha
  4. This is the one i bought on the weekend was on sale so i snatched it but it only has 2 modes just dril and hammer drill.

My boss brought over the big gun at this demo job im on i used it to rip up the old tile then to take down the whole back wall 2 layers of brick 2 floors the rotarty hammer and a slugg hammer and 2 guys i must say its was fun i have a video but it wont let me up load it keeps stopping it and ways this was on my tools list befor but now it is forsure

  9. Ahhh bostich fan i am not lol we use the coil framers at my work but i prefer hitatchi coil framers but i do own my own paslode and i love it

  12. I didnt look at his profile so i wouldnt of known and hitatchi is a sick brand one of my fav nailguns im playing on getting one we use the coil frameing gun at my work il take a hitachi over bostitch any day
  13. Ya the sub floor is old planks of wood coverd with new paper and tar paper no wonder old house could burn down so easy the whole house is an ignition system lol it would be crazy being a carpenter in the 1920s though

  16. Bud it does actually get.hot here its not all snow and shit summers summer same as other places its definitely a different and less hot then yall have down south.thoo and i am jelouse of that i hate the cold

I am all the way up here in toronto canada soo winter time my job kinda sucks thoo its cold an snowy but from april till about October its great hot and sunshine and rain here and there i forgot to mention my fav tool would have to be my paslode frameing nailer i got it for my birthday and love it
  18. How mamy people on here love what they do and if so what is it you do? Im a pro framer "in training" lol and i love it nothing better then building houses from the ground up soo please share oh and throw your fav tool in there too
  19. Ya im on a crew and all the main tools saws ,guns , compress ect. Is our bosses we just need are belt tools but ya when your solo you can control the care in your own tools

I see your point but warmdrives are a classic carpenters been useing them since the 40s i plan on passing my down to my son and so on but you make a good point cordless have come along way i just work with a lot of old school carpenters who are set in there ways and cordless is more the new school but i dont know if a cordless 300$ dewalt circ saw is worth the abuse a job site can throw at it i mean skilsaw warmdrives arnt crazy expensive so if you beat it up its not a huge deal but if you breal a new brushless dewalt or milwaukee i can see it hurting the pocket book lol

Ya i like to look at the blade run down my chaulk line or down my mark on a 2x4,2x6 what ever or when im ripping a 2x4 into a 2x2 i thinks its akward to look over the saw to see but i have noticed the some cordless circ saws are having the blade on the side now if i ever showed up to work with a cordless id get lauphed at so thats why i stick to warmdeives and iv heard you can find left handed sidewinder/blade on left but you have to special order them
