Wow. One battery that can do almost anything?!
Those CEL's look like Hitachi 12v's, wonder if Hitachi owns em.
-
These are head and shoulders above the rest right now, it'll be interesting to see how the rest will respond. In the end, the real winners are us consumers!
-
Nice comparison. Both drills look super awesome both performance wise and cosmetics wise.
-
Don't buy either one, wait a year from now and watch someone come out with a 1500 inch pound drill. Just kidding, would be cool though...
-
I think it's the 3800 to 3600 IPM rather than the RPM's that makes the bigger difference since it's under load. But either way, both great tools, but Makita's cost $369 compared to $299 Milwaukee

If you really want to start a new lineup, Ryobi's got a pretty amazing line for the price and they always have stuff on sale. But Black and Decker has some pretty good stuff and like some mentioned you already have a setup to build on.
-
Why not just make brushless models compatible with their current 12v batteries? This pretty much signals the end of their "current" 12v lineup. These tools seem okay but don't look that compact, probably going to be running $130-$150 each.

Yup I can't wait, just a few more hours. There are so many awesome fights on the card and in the pre-lims. I agree, Mendes gave Aldo a good fight. One thing for sure though, Connor has never fought an opponent as dangerous as Mendes. This should be an interesting fight to watch, Connor was training for a different type of fighter and Mendes took the fight in short notice. You gonna watch the fights Bothuhead?

I didn't get to watch the PPV but I heard it was an amazing card! Great fights all around! Lawler won a war! Mendes, not so lucky...

It sounds like an impact driver should work just fine for what you need. I used my old FUEL to take off some lugs just for the heck of it and it did fine even with the adaptor. I think an impact driver is more versatile for DIY anyway.
-
I always thought it was unnecessary to have different speed settings for an impact driver then I discovered the FUEL Impact driver. It pretty much allows you to cover a huge amount of tasks. You can control those small screws used with cabinet hardware in one moment and then drive lags the next! I used mine for drilling pocket holes and then the low speed for driving the pocket screw. Put in a nutshell...Ultimate Precision.

It's great to get the kiddos/family involved, although they can be a little too helpful sometimes. Ever since I taught my six year old daughter how to drive a nail, I'll find random nails driven into my workbench from time to time.

Yup I hope Chad wins, that way he can get his rematch against Aldo. McGregor is a great fighter, but he hasn't fought the caliber of fighters that Aldo has. If Aldo wasn't injured, I think he would have won the fight.

The big fight today! Mendes deserves that rematch with Aldo, the 49-46 across the board from the second fight was a robbery. I watched that fight twice and it was 48-47 either fighter.

Been in the same league for close to 12 years. 3 time champion.
Nice, I hope we can keep our league going strong. It was in its second year, my first, last year. I was tied for first for most the season but struggled down the stretch. Not gonna happen again this year.

Hitachi makes some pretty extreme looking tools! You don't always hear much about them here and they don't offer as much but if you go to their Japan site, you can see why they are huge over seas. I've owned some Hitachi drills and impacts in the past and they really are ergonomic.

I haven't bought any power tools at all this year, so the back half Ill be swinging for the fences haha. By year's end I'll add the following to the collection:
M12 vac
M12 + M18 lanterns
M18 fan
2704 hammer drill
2754 compact impact
Maybes are the 2731 and 2530 saws, as well as 2792 radio. I'll also pick up additional lights as they come out (m18 high power flood and m12 spotlight). Might break the dam this week with the vac and lanterns.
That's quite the list man! The second half of the year is a better time to buy tools anyway, way more deals!

Who you guys got this weekend, Connor McGregor or Chad Mendes? I like Chad Mendes in this one to stop the ridiculous Connor McGregor train.

I haven't followed MMA as much as I used to. It seemed like every time I forked over the money for the pay per view, what should have been a great fight card was painfully awful to watch. Then when I wouldn't buy it they had the greatest fights ever. I just got tires of it. Now Rousey has me a little more interested to watch again.

Don't buy Rousey's PPVs, they end too fast! Her last fight lasted 14 seconds or something and the one before was like 16 seconds! Not saying they're not awesome just very quick!
-
Just standard. Got 4th in my league last year in a thrilling playoff. Looking to get that prize money this year.
-
Hey fellow tool junkies! With the Fantasy Football season under way, I thought I'd just ask and see if any one else here plays. I'm going to be in a 12 team league with some buddies with a $20 buy in...nothing too serious. Winner takes $160, 2nd gets $60 and 3rd gets their $20 back.
-
Well...After what Beth Correia said about Rousey's Dad, I can almost guarantee you that Rousey is either gonna break Beth's arm or Knock her the %$#@ Out lol. In my opinion, there is no one in her division that can stop her. She has the best arm bars period. I can't wait till August for this fight and for the next Milwaukee offering haha
Yeah I know they want to hype up fights to sell but that's not cool, family is off limits in my opinion. Correia gonna get destroyed, and when she loses, she better not go for that handshake because Rousey isn't going to shake it, she's going to break it!

She's super tough and at the same time is taking women's mma to a whole new level. It'll be interesting to see who will actually be able to compete with her and not just get torn up!

I like both PlayStation and XBOX but currently own a PS3, oh and a gamecube. I thought it was kinda funny that I found myself playing a lot of the PS1 classics over the actual PS3 games. Gaming though is also an expensive hobby...not enough money to go around

I think I saw Home Depot online running a free m18 battery with a kit purchase. They seem to have something like that pretty often.

That little Rolair compressor is impressive. I have my Porter Cable in the garage and when that thing kicks on it startles my kiddos in the living room! Just about shakes the whole house.

Oh yeah, forgot about that Hilti Hammer drill. The video I saw was pretty impressive, that thing was rippin' into the wood.
