  1. I'm going to keep it short and doable because trust me, i could go on for hours. ..

An impact bit set and drill bit sets would be a nice compliment to those beautiful fuel power tools! Maybe some step bits for the drill and blades for that smexy saw. Oh last thing. .. wait for it. ..... oscillating tool. Ok I'm going to stop now

  2. Milwaukee is making one, well sort of. If you saw the new Milwaukee fan it comes with an adaptor pack designed to allow the fan to be a plug in as well as battery operated. I'm not sure if it can power bigger tools but I would imagine the output would be the same as the battery.

  3. I can't complain much about my job per say, but my employer has a bit of a reputation for hiring shotty outside contractors again and again for renovation projects.

We are replacing heaters in this building and they hired a flooring contractor to patch where the old heaters were, as the new heaters are a different size and do not touch the floor. This is an example of this contractors handy work. . .

I'm not sure if these guys are trying to do a shitty job or if they are just stupid. One thing i do know is the only tool they brought to the job is glue! And they used tons of it.

  4. I am young and have only started my tool hoarding I mean collection. My wish list is to long to type but I would have to say that a tool chest has been on my mind for a while now and i think the best way to start a collection would be with a place to store it all. I hear good things about HF chests and with my budget that's probably what I will get someday. .. money is no object I would get the Milwaukee chest. I love the Matt finish

  5. The European market gets some pretty nice cars too. Although i believe the focus RS is making its way to America soon. I guess this is a case of "the grass always being greener" I would imagine if you get in the companies head, they are probably testing specific products in their ideal market. UK might have a higher demand for masonry tools (I think they build with block a lot?) So they might see the most innovative tools of that kind because a company can be sure that the product has the best chance for success there.

  6. I never used a hammer drill before a few weeks ago so idon't have much to compare to. like I said i had started with a combo drill with a standard Chuck with chuck key. This thing with a good bit is almost completely effortless, you can hardly feel the hammering action and the battery seems to last quite a while as well. with a New bit It digs like drilling foam

  7. Yes you want one with the hammer drill Chuck. .. I have been drilling block for the past few weeks at work and i had started with a hammer drill with a standard Chuck and it wasn't much fun. Now I'm using a Milwaukee hammer drill with the quick change Chuck and you can't even feel the hammering action. ... it just digs

  8. New toy at work. I was using a makita hammer drill with a standard Chuck before i got this baby and i must say it is a completely different beast. Eats cinderblock for breakfast lunch and dinner.

  9. They are real sensitive to precise cuts. And you should always de-burr your pipe before inserting.

I worry about the O-rings. City water is horrible with all the chlorine and other chemicals.

That ship has sailed hahaha. I cut the pipe and slapped it on there! Oh well. .only temporary until the new fixtures go in. The main is shut off now anyway sense i ran into yet another valve that leaks. Why can't every valve be a ball valve? Oh wait they will be

  10. PEX in general is a huge time saver! Sense i have to replace every valve in my house with ball valves I am considering just replacing everything with PEX. I have access to the tool from work and I am replacing all the fixtures in the house anyway so it seems like it might be the best option. Drop ceiling in the basement.

  11. Forgot to add that you can also removed them by pushing the plastic part back down evenly..they sell little tool but can be done without..

I didn't know that. .. can they be reused?

  12. Yeah they are definitely quick when you have water in the pipe. On a side note I did manage to make it out of homedepot today without buying a tool. I realized after though that I should have bought a more compact pipe cutter, so I'm not really sure if I can call resisting the urge to buy a tool today a success or a failure...
